we got this for our 3 year old daughter's birthday. it is incredible for the price. you get beyond your money's worth. it is fun and easy to use. like i said she is 3, and has absolutely no problem working it. when she feels like singing and dancing "to Jesus" she doesn't even need help getting it going. we absolutely love it. during the day, she will even play with it (without music) narrating her actions. so much fun, even for the adults!!

We purchased this for my 3 year old daughter's birthday. She loves to sing and is very responsible and doesn't destroy toys. She loves it, as does her 6 year old brother. You need to turn the microphone up quite loud to hear it, and the sound quality isn't great, but the kids love it. We might replace the microphone with a better quality mic in the future, but it's appropriate for the kids. A nice step up from the 'kiddie' microphones that don't work or don't amplify voices.

This is the only karaoke machine I used so there is nothing to compare to. It is easy to use. It would be nice if the volume could be even more quiet. The instruction booklet was good. I was a bit confused in using the "skip" button. I thought you were to press STOP first according to page E11, then SKIP, but that would cause you to go back to the first song track. To skip a song, I just pressed SKIP after a song ended and when the next song would come on. I did not try PROGRAM so I don't know how that will work. If the instruction manual gave step by step instructions for playing a disc, it would be a better product. The booklet tells what each button or dial does, but not what sequence to press the buttons or turn the dials in playing a typical cd + g disc.

For the price, it is really a pretty good deal...not bad quality sound...comes with one CD, so you can try it out right away...It connects to ur tv so can read the words to each song.
