Bright Starts Tropical Fun Around We Go! Activity Station

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERY PARENT!

I have a 4 1/2 month old, and I also watch an 8 month old full time. Both babies love this toy! There are many different toys attached, so they never get bored. I especially like the keyboard section because each key pushed says a couple different things, plus you can turn the pages on the book and there are even more little phrases that it says - so the babies love it because it lights up and talks, and I like it because it's not extremely repetitive and I can handle listening to it for a while.
I bought the toy because it is an exersaucer and walker all in one, but safer than a walker because they only go in circles. It is also very sturdy and doesn't look like it will break anytime soon - though I've only had it a couple weeks so we shall see.
Disadvantages - it took me almost 2 hours to put this thing together by myself. Also, it doesn't collapse (like some exersaucers) so it takes up a lot of space, whether in use or not.

While shopping for an activity table, a friend told me that the Around We Go Activity Station, which his children use, keeps children's interest far longer than others. He explained that when the child tires of one area of activity, she can move on to the next.

I am limited on space, & though I was told it requires almost 4 ft. of floor space to allow the seat to rotate 360º around the table, I think this is a wise use of space since it equals several toys together. Plus, when the child outgrows the seat, it will be removed, cutting the space required down to a third of what it was. It seems to be made with solid enough material to last a long time, yet we easily move it back & forth between two rooms.

The 9 mo old who uses it, loves to chew on the parrot, but she especially loves the keyboard. She can turn the thick plastic pages to change the function of the keys. She already seems to be trying to figure out which pages cause the keyboard to produce which kinds of sounds. One page makes the keys act like a piano, one page makes them introduce the animal pictured & play a tiny amount of music, & the other page plays whatever style of music matches the picture on the key. If she wants my attention, she scoots back & plays the keyboard. I am thrilled with the quality & variety of music, which is really important when you have to hear it as much as I do.

Even the tray has been useful. I lay a high interest toy on it, turning it into another activity station. The tray is recessed, so the toy doesn't fall off for a long time.

The water pad part is the least interesting. I can't imagine it occupying any child for long. The buttons are hard to push down & the bubbles aren't very noticeable. There is just too much else fun about this toy for that to bring the rating down any.

I am surprised it costs as little as it does, compared to other toys. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner since it can be used as early as 6 mo.

This exersaucer is very cute and durable which is a great thing. My complaints about it though is the starting age it states is 4 months, however my 4 month old is about 5 inches from being able to touch the floor. Maybe I have a short 4 month old, but I think there should be a lower setting. I dont recommend putting this together if youre in a bad mood or your kid/kids are running around crazy because setting this up will only further aggravate you. A magnetic Phillips head screwdriver would be best because I had to screw parts in upside down so the screw stood straight up because the holes are deep down. Also the 2 yellow halves that turn into the table stand are kinda tricky. I do think its very cute though, lots of nifty toys and spins great. I put my baby in it every now and then and she enjoys looking at everything, but havent gotten to see it in action just yet. I imagine it will be great fun though since my oldest loved her exersaucer.

I purchased this well before the time my son was able to utilize. He's 4 months now and is beginning to show interest by reaching for toys and recognizing other toys that may not be presented directly in front of him. I'd say the piano is a great item while he is not mobile.

I can't wait until he's running circles like I've seen on some kids on You Tube. Along with reviews and You Tube, this was the deciding factor to obtain this entertainer.

I've read some people having problems with the seat moving around the base and found there is a knob that can hold the seat in place when checking under the seat. You have to manual adjust to allow the seat to move freely around. This was not a difficult product to put together, about 20 min.

I am a 66 year old great-grandmother...I had four children of my own, thirteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild...and well over one hundred daycare children...this is the nicest "walker" I have ever purchaced! (I have purchaced more than I could count) It stands firm while baby walks around no chance of toppling over by a chair leg, etc. I can't find any fault with this product...wish they had these 49 years ago! The toys are so nice. I will be purchacing another very soon...and is convertable too! What a deal...will be used for years. LOVE IT!

My 6 month old loves this product. I recommend that you have lots of room though since the "sidecar" type seat takes up so much room. The snack tray is agood idea however since I haven't gotten the chance to use it, I kinda of wish it was another toy. Very colorful and fun. Love the idea that it's a convertible toy that she will be able to play with for years instead of months.

as other reviewers have said, this product was such a pain to put together. they also recommend this product for children 4+ months, my son is 6 months and is barely reaching the ground and isn't strong enough to move the chair around. my son loves this toy though, he's at the age where everything goes to his mouth, so he's basically just chewing on it, i could've gotten him a teether for $70 cheaper!

I love this walker. My son enjoys it and it keeps him busy. It has alot of activities on it, unlike alot of new and old walkers that are out. It's very sturdy and easy to put together
