I have no idea how well the air conditioner worked. I took it out of the box, it was dirty and scratched up as if it were very heavily used. I took it right back to the store. I don't know how it could have been used since they don't even sell this model in stores but air conditioners that have been in my home for years don't look as bad as this one looked new. The return process was very easy though.

The appearance, design, and side to side air flow deflectors are all nice. Up and down air deflectors do not function very well. The parts provided do not fit tightly as I am accustomed with all prior air conditioners I have purchased. The top panels never tightened down and required work to get a good fit on the window. The side sliding panels that are supposed to fit into the window did not. Lots of extra work to install and seal. Finally, once installed, the fan unit blows very well. Too well, all 3 speeds are too loud. It was very hard for us to even tell the difference in the fan speeds. Kept trying to find a quiet one to no avail.

purchased unit today installed which was easy. Unit ran for about 30 minutes then the compressor stopped but fan kept running on energy saver mode. Temp went up 5 degrees over desired temp but only fan would work. Only good thing I can say is it died right away so returning it will be easy.

This AC is a replacement for another Haier AC unit that has just expired from use. We expect it to give us the same good service as the one it replaced. It is very quiet and does the job of cooling a large master bedroom and bath very well. It also will cool another room across the hall if we open a window slightly. We have had very good luck with this brand and model.

Built a 10x20 guest house which is insulated good. I ran this air conditioner two days only so far and it really does a great job of cooling. I still have alot of work to do so I haven't been running the AC anymore. But will run it everyday later.

I purchased this A/C back in late March. I live in Western NY State & where can you find an A/C during the winter? Walmart.com. So I shoped on line, chose the model I wanted, and used Walmart Site to Store free shipping. Spring jumped into mid & late summer heat last week, & I had my A/C installed. I am extremely pleased with it. The cooling capacity has done the job (cooling my whole apt.) and removes highly humid air also. It is a bit loud, but aren't they all? Love the small remote control.

This Air conditioner is a pretty good deal for what it is. It's very loud but also very powerful. The low setting blows enough cool air that I don't even need to go any higher. I tested the noise level at all three levels and as you turn it up it gets signifigantly louder. I would recommend if you buy this AC you do not put it in the same room as a TV or Radio you actually want to listen to. Or if you must keep it as far away as possible. Right now I have it about 10 feet from my tv and if I turn it on, I have to turn the TV way up to hear anything.
All in all it meets expectations.

This was a frustration. I ordered this unit because of the width stated on the Walmart.com site (15.5 "). When I open the box the unit was 20.25 "; it was much too wide for my window. Please correct the site dimensions. I returned it without taking it out of the shipping box.
