Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Grind 'n Brew Coffeemaker, GBX23

Great at what it does but stopped heating after 2+ yrs. and no replaceable parts.

Over all a good product. Missing a few features I had on my last Grind and Brew but not bad for the money.

This coffee maker exactly fits the bill for those who don't like pre-ground coffee but aren't willing to spend hundreds of dollars to have fresh ground coffee at home. The price was excellent compared to any other sites or models. Admittedly grinding is loud, but no louder than grinding your own beans in a separate grinder plus it doesn't last long. I like the double windows for water volume and although there are several parts to clean, it is very easy.

This is a great coffee maker. I have not used the grinding feature as of yet but it has a variety of features that are a nice option. It's beautiful too! I have not had any issues with it at all. The coffee comes out nice and hot too. I have had several coffee makers and this one is by far the best so far.

The taste of freshly ground coffee far surpasses any pre-ground coffee available. This unit makes it easy to enjoy great coffee every morning, just set it up to grind and brew when you awake and the machine does the rest. The grinding process is loud,kinda like a second alarm, and the clean up is slightly more than with a normal coffee maker but it's worth it for coffee this good. Instructions are easy to understand. Saw this product recommended in Consumer Reports and, while just slightly more expensive than the price listed in CR ($55 vs. $50), this grinder/brewer does an excellent job at about half the price of other brands. The only downside, which may be the case with all of the other brands as well, is that the 45-second grinding cycle sounds like an air raid siren. So, if you use delay brew, the Mr. Coffee grind and brew doubles as an alarm clock, too.

I love fresh ground coffee. I like this coffee maker because the grinder is included. I don't like wasting counter space with extra appliances, so this is awesome.

Coffee makers that will grind coffee beans are hard to find at an affordable price, this product compares to the last more expensive coffee maker that we had and it is great.

I thought this would be good after seeing all the positive reviews. It brews well, but the grinding feature is poor. It does not grind very well and then the grindings are supposed to fall through these little holes and into the chamber to be brewed, however, the grindings often clog up the holes and only about half of them make it to the chamber. I returned this item and bought a cheap coffee pot that does not grind and then I bought a grinder. This setup works way better! I know a coffee pot both grinding and brewing sounds really cool but unless you spend a lot it is just too complicated a process to work well. Just do it the old fashioned way, grind your beans in a grinder and then put them in the chamber yourself. Guaranteed to work every time.
