Even if you are not a fan of Paula, this is a great book to read. Paula proves that hard work and determination can get you where you want to be in life. I like her even more after reading this book.
I have tried several of the recipes in this book. They are down home cooking, just like I grew up on!

Paula outdid herself this time.
She wrote a very honest book about herself, which is hard for all of us to do.
She told secrets about herself that I didn't know... and I thought I knew all there was to know about the queen of butter!

A great book.. and more.. recipes too!

if you like paula deen and enjoy her shows then you just have to read this book--it's entertaining and written from the heart--she didn't have life very easy and she went ahead and made something of herself--inspirational!! i truly enjoyed the book.
