The antenna that i bought with the sirius radio broke after a month of using. This one for some strange reason get better radio reception I love it and it was cheaper than Best Buy which sell for almost $50.

This antenna is necessary in order to operate your Sirius radio. It is pretty costly for the length of time it lasts. This is my third one for the same radio. The wires on it are so thin that it cuts through no matter where I run it into my van. I've tried the sliding doors, the back hatch, through the front door, nothing changes. Eventually the wires are cut.

Not sure why the original antenna stopped working, but this works like a charm. Had concerns over the fit of the jack, but it worked out fine. A bit pricey, as you can buy entire new units for as little as $50 these days. We love our Sirius!!! We had painful days without it (car antenna is also broken!)

Replacing original antenna. Accidently ruined original wire to antenna. Ordered this one and back to new. The price is better then getting the monster antenna's that have to be mounted. All in all, works exactly as the original.

This Sirius Antenna works perfectly with our sirius radio. I looked for antenna's on Sirius & other places, they were almost double the price I paid at Walmart.com. I wish the price was a little lower, considering where the wire broke off from the magnetic antenna, right at the base, this will probably have to be replaced again in a couple of years, that's how long the original one lasted. Sirius should lower the price or protect the wire better.

Botton line is that it works. It is a little more sensitive than the original sirius antenna. Before, I would be under a bridge or over pass and it wouldn't lose signal. Now, it looses it a lot more quickly. I hope there are friendly skies ahead...

Better price than Radio Shack, came quickly but....the problem was not a bad antenna but a bad Sirius radio itself. And of course this antenna doesn't fit the new Sirius Inv2 radio. This lesson cost me over $30.00. But Wal-Mart did fine.

The initial symptom was when my Sirius Sportster radio kept trying to acquire signal, even on clear days. The next symptom was when my radio display said "antenna not detected", even though it clearly WAS! My failing antenna was roof-mounted on my car, and I had that antenna for about 14 months. The NEW antenna works great, even better than the old antenna. I opened-up the failed antenna and found that the metal disk was seriously corroded & crumbled within its "protective housing", so there was very little for the wire to make contact with. I just hope this new antenna lasts longer than 14 months!
