Acer 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor, AL2216WBD

I got this monitor on sale for $199.99. It arrived in about 4 days. I hooked it up and started gaming on my XBOX 360 immediately. So far it's performed superbly. It's a nice large, bright screen, and the picture is great.
The stand also pivots forward and backward allowing for adjustment depending on your height/vantage point.
The backlighting is slightly (emphasis on slightly, it's really very subtle) visible at the top and bottom, but you never really notice this unless the screen is near pitch black, so it's basically a non-issue.
All in all I believe it was a wise investment. I don't see the point in paying as much as one hundred dollars more for another monitor.

This is a really nice monitor for the price. It is vibrant, easy to assemble, and more than enough quality for the majority of users.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this monitor. After purchasing the Dell 22", being disappointed, and returning it, I read the reviews on the Acer 22" and decided to give it a try. Just from opening the box, and seeing how well it was packaged, I knew this product was going to be far superior to the Dell.

The color is great. Images are sharp and crisp. I love the variety of different settings you can choose from and how user friendly it is.

And as for the price, I think the value for the price is unbeatable!

I shopped around for a month before settling on this excellent LCD display. I am a full time work at home developer and required a decent quality screen to which this one meet and surpassed my expectations!
Furthermore I should also state that I am running Linux on both my machines through a KVM switch to which this monitor has no compatibility issues whatsoever. The mode switch feature (Text, Moves, Pictures etc) is also very excellent
Additionally I should state that contrary to another review the base IS adjustable

I researched the larger, flat panel LCD Monitors before deciding on the Acer 22". The price was highly competitive. TheWal-mart ad and pictures were impressive and convincing.
But what did me in, what sold me were the buyer reviews, almost all positive and glowing.

I bought this monitor to upgrade my old 19" flat panel purchased a few years back. Working in the Graphic Arts field, I am used to high end monitors from my profession, so when I needed a new monitor for home use, I wouldn't go for a low quality monitor.
As a father of 2 I needed something that wouldn't break the budget, but still offer good quality. This monitor is it. I purchased it Site to store, as it wasn't availble in our local stores. When I got it home, which seemed like it took longer than it should have, but still was on shorter end of the window for delivery, I couldn't wait to open the box.
I unplugged the old monitor, plugged this in with the provided DVI cable to my NVIDIA 8500gt graphics card, and I was pleasently surprised. The picture was crisp, clear, and needed little to no tweaking..... Nice price, good quality, good buy.

A vast improvement over the CRT monitor it replaced! This monitor has good specs and lives up to them. My only complaint is the stand is not rigid so the monitor wobbles when I bump the desk.

This monitor is a great value for the money. I have been heavy into photography for myself. This monitor is clear and large enough to see all the details that I may want to correct in my final product. My only complaint is an apparent stuck pixel that is at the top of my screen and results in a yellow line top to bottom. I have found that I only have to gently rock the upper edge of the monitor frame and the line resets itself. This line has returned several times but has taken longer each time. I believe it will fix itself by this method. I believe that a bit of glue etc. has "pinched" the pixel in question and will be smoothed out by this method.
