Here's the upside -- This printer makes true-to-life prints with bright, vivid colors. I couldn't tell the difference between the ones I printed out vs. some I had developed at a store. What impressed me the most was that I don't have to link it to a computer to print them out, plus it's small and compact, making it a handy thing to take with you on vacation.
But here's the downside -- The cartridge of ink that comes with it only printed out nine photos before announcing it was "low" on ink. And refill ink cartridges (said to print out 100 photos -- we'll see) are rather pricey. Also, a few of the first photos I printed out had some small irregularities (blobs, smudge marks, etc.)
