This product works well enough, however it can't take the numbers of sheets of paper it claims it can take.I put through 6 sheets at a time and it almost jammed.It works better doing 4 sheets at a time.

When I received product was very happy w/it. After about a week it just quit working. (This was just for home) So I called the company and they werent helpful and explained to me that I would have to write some long letter and send it in to see if they will replace it. I live 3 hours from any walmart so im going to make a special trip to return it. Then I will let Walmart deal w/the manufactor. I even registered it online for the warrenty to be active. I dont feel at this time that Walmart is at fault but the company who made this product is.

I definitely recommend this product if you are just looking for something for your home office. This is exactly what I bought it for and I haven't had any problems with the functioning aspect thus far. It does sound kind of loud, though. It's difficult for me to compare what other shredders are like since I've only worked with one other one in a professional office, but this product is well worth the money spent.

I have found this product to be very good in shredding papers; however, when coming to shredding the credit cards, it doesn't shred them all the way, only in half. So if your sheddring plastic, be sure to check the bag & run them through again. A bit on the noisy side.

just bought this. i plan to return tomorrow. it is poorly assembled. the bin has a part that pushes a switch in the shredder top to prevent the shredder from working without sitting on the bin. the bin is so flimsy that it doesn't hold its shape. it buckles and causes part that needs to push this switch fails. i've also had the same problem as other customers who find that it turns itself off after a few minutes of constant use because it overheats. just as it is about to overheat it sounds like its dying. the last shredder i had was the michael graves one from target. it was amazing. sadly they don't make them anymore.

I purchased this paper shredder because it was a good value. I didn't anticipate using it for more than shredding household bills and other personal papers, so I thought the sheet capacity would be fine. It turned out that the shredder could not handle shredding more than 2 or 3 sheets of paper at a time. It was unable to shred credit card bills and offers without separating them into individual pages, which was time consuming. The shredder emergency overide shuts down the unit after more than 15-20 minutes of continuous use and won't restart for at least an hour or more. The shredder also jams easily. I would only recommend for shredding single sheets of paper. It can not handle anything thicker than standard copier paper. I finally returned it to the store.

Product gears broke after the fifth attempt with only 5 sheets of paper on the first day. I would recommend getting one with a higher capacity and higher quality that will last longer.

If you don't need to do anything but a few pieces of paper at a time then this is the machine for you. I needed something to run constantly for at least 10 minutes at a time and this is not the machine that can handle this. After about 3 minutes the machine shuts itself down because it has overheated. So if you have something to do with 3 minutes or less this is the machine for you. If you need more than 3 minutes constantly working this isn't the machine for you. Disappointing to me for the price. I guess I just needed to spend more money.

Just read the other reviews. I don't have anything new to add. Jams easily. Runs maybe 1o minutes. Then needs to rest for an hour before you can used it again. I used product one day & then returned it.

I used trhis product at intended, never shredding more pages than recomended.The problem occured after I shredded some credit cards. The credit cards broke some plastic spacers that then allowed shredded paper to build up and jam up the shredder.

Great shredder!!! I shredded documents for over an hour before I had to give it a rest. It automatically turns off when it gets to hot. The previous shredders I have used turn off after about 30 mins of shredding. This one is a GREAT buy!!
