After many years, the first shredder finally wore out, I purchased another Fellowes shredder because I knew I could depend on it to do the job . . . and it was ".Just what I needed to do the job" . . . and I "recycle" by taking the "shredded paper" to the Mail Plus Store where they use it for stuffing the packages they pack and send for their customers. This helps the Economy, too.

Jam Jam Jam...pass the peanut butter...Cause this one won't work well for anything but ...Paper in becomes a mass in the cutting shoot. Any plastic windows on envelopes melt into a goo that is toxic waste...so go figure...I don't think it will surfice as a shreader...but..if you like sitting with it upside down on your lap digging out the paper chunks and getting shreads of paper all over your floor instead of being able to finish what you started this is the model for you!

The shredder is what it was said to be, however, the Fellowes shredder I'd used for years was a cross cut shredder and I did not realize what a difference there would be in the shredded paper. Before I realized my mistake I had used the shredder and could not return it for a cross cut shredder. The company makes quality products, and I've been happy with them for years.

I am relieved to have a better running shredder!! I love the auto cut off immediately after shredder is finished and the lock/unlock button is on the top instead of the side, meaning you won't forget to shut it off. Try this product and you'll find papers to shred!!

This shredder is worth its price. I like the the ample size of the receptacle bin and the speed is just right for the volume of shredding I do. Don't forget to oil the blade...makes it run longer and smoother. Great buy!

Actually it's not a bad shredder but I thought I was buying the confetti one. The strip-cut doesn't shred enough as far as I'm concerned. You can still read personal information on the papers. NOT a good thing! Oh well, live and learn. I'm stuck with it now!
