Took this to sister as one of her gifts, she used it the whole time we were there. Loved it. Goes in the dishwasher, is fairly quiet, set grind level-push button-walk away, and it looks great on the counter! Bargain-priced too. Every cup of coffee I had while there(and I drink the stuff all day) was scrumptuous! Can't go wrong with this one, folks.---the input about length of owning & usage was based on my sister's info, since this was her gift. :-)

This is the second Hamilton Beach grinder I've bought. The first I got at Walmart. I used it every day for 3 years before it died. I tried the Balck and Decker version with the renmovalable cup but found it awkward and inconvenient. I had to reset the thing every time I used it. The Hamilton Beach version is easy to set, it starts at the push of a button and stops when it finishes. It is super easy to clean. I even bought and extra in case the company decides to make un-needed changes.

Very happy with this coffee/spice grinder. Works well for both and since we wash it out immediately after we are through using it we have not noticed any carry over of odors/ flavors.The adjustable grind feature is great and works well. The cord storage is a nice feature. The cord is short however(< 12 inches). Cleans easily. Would buy this again if we needed to replace this one. We use it several times a day for our needs. I would recommend it to my friends and family as a good value for the money.

I'm happy with this grinder. Unlike the one I used to have, I fill it, push a button, and walk away. The grinder automatically stops at the desired fineness and it's quieter and faster than the old brand. The removable cup with well-marked graduations is great (compared to the old one which had a metal cup) and the unit seems stable on my counter top. As I've only just purchased and started using it I have to qualify my enthusiasm because I'll have to see how long it lasts. :D

I used the grinder for the first time today and it did the grinding job o.k with setting at Espresso larger circle, I ground it twice - just right. I like the way the cord is concealed in the base, the lid and grinding unit are easy to remove for cleaning.

This is a great product except for the cord placement where you have to pull down the base of the grinder, unwind the cord, place end of cord in slot and push up base. After grinding you must repeat the cord process again to rewind the cord. Very Poor engineering.
