Never been able to scan pictures!,

I bought this printer in Dec, 2006, and need all 3 features to function well. It prints ok and copies ok but I've never been able to use the scanner function. I've spent hours with HP: Tech Support and have never been able to get the scanner part to work. And now I've refilled both the ink cartridges and it won't work at all. Talked to HP Tech Support again and they say I have to always buy new cartridges!! I am really Angry about both these issues!!!!! I wish I had the sense to take it back when I first had the problem with it not scanning.

This printer gave me nothing but trouble from day one! I had to uninstall and reinstall the software several times. I don't have enough space here to tell you all that was continually wrong. I ended up taking it back for a refund and buying a different brand!

HP did it again. Always coming out with great products for the money! This unit is awesome, prints beautiful photos, and copies and scans like a champ. My old HP printer (Photosmart P1100) recently expired, and I was worried I wouldn't find a machine that would print as well this did, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a great all-in-one machine, do yourself a favor and buy this!

This is a great all-in-one printer, scanner, copier! It is a nice compact size for a full-sized printer. I love the low profile and the ease of having the control buttons on the top of the unit. Also impressive are the front loading ports for the digital camera cards. Downloading pictures to my computer is a breeze now.The printer was very easy to set-up, (with only one CD needed for installation) and the instructions were simple to understand! I love this printer!
