I've always had Pioneer speakers so it was easy for me to choose this set for my new truck. They sound great and have lots of power. I can crank up the volume and not worry about blowing them out.

These speakers sound great! I did have pioneer 2-ways before the two door speakers blew out after 7 years of abuse. No comparison with the new 4-ways. The micro tweeters sound fantastic. Drum snare and cymbals have never sounded so good. I have actually noticed guitar parts that never came through before. They seem to handle bass pretty good although I use a cross over to cut out any freqs under 100Hz and send to the subs. Great for loud heavy metal!!! Ordering two more to replace the rear speakers now.

Awesome Sound

These speakers are very powerful. Check the nominal watts coming out of your stereo. If anything negative about these speakers are that I don't have enough power (only 200 watts/50 each to 4 speakers). So I underperform big time.
Otherwise, the sound is awesome. Hey I am 40 and I really shouldn't worry because I don't need to be listening to music like I use to when I was 19.
