Universal Panel Track, Satin Nickel

well it is not all it is cracked up to be.i was putting it in between a doorway living room and dining room.
could not use brackets that were given with product.
i had to modify the rail.i had to drill holes directly into bracket and screw it to the top of the door facing. if you are not mechanically inclined(woops can't spell to good) do not buy this product.

i am in a wheelchair and had to have my mother who is in her young 60's to help put it up,it took 3 hours if you go by the directions.

that's when i decided to measure the correct length and then drill pilot holes and use recessed screws and screw it directly up to the top of door frame. so rollers will not hit. it took 15 minutes that way.
small gator clip's but very strong.

I really love the concept, affordability and the design of this track system, but ceiling mounting as pictured was impossible to replicate with the instructions and hardware provided. I had a very specific use for this track system that was dependant on a ceiling, not wall mount curtain so it was disappointing. I found a workaround so it served it's purpose, but disappointed that I had to "MacGuyer" a solution to a brand new product that does not work as shown. The system iteself is exactly as expected, curtains glide through the track easily and clips hold even thin material and heavy material equally secure. It's nice other than the ceiling mount issue.

the hooks come off easily - but I was glad to find this type of drapery hardware. Works perfectly for where I need it.

I wanted to get rid of my hideous vertical blinds and replace them with a prettier option. I bought pinch pleated curtains at JC Penny and hung them with this track over 2 sliding glass doors in my house. I bought the larger track and the smaller track. One of my windows was an average 60 inches wide and the other window is 96 inches wide. The larger track fits perfectly over my large window. I was worried that it might not come with enough clips to hang the curtains but it had MORE than enough! The plastic pull is nice to because I don't have to touch the curtains and worry about getting them dirty. This is a great option and you can't beat the price! When my curtains are closed you can't see the track at all. I only wish Walmart sold the track in black. Great buy! Will buy again for other windows in my house!

No instructions for how to ceiling mount and the construction of the mounts and the locks make it very awkward to do. Very awkward. Buy your own anchors because the ones in the kit fall apart and bend when you put them in. Again, probably fine if you mount on the wall, but the ceiling is a different story. and of course, the ability to ceiling mount is the draw for me. Price is excellent.

I am very pleased with this product. I used it to span an entire wall of windows. It was very easy to install and looks great. Everyone that has seen it is very impressed by the classy look it adds to the room.
I ordered the longer rod and wish it would have come with two drawing rods. I will go elsewhere to purchase a second, being walmart does not carry it.

I purchased the universal panel track to put up a curtain divider in one of our front rooms. My father in law had become very ill and lost a leg, he is moving in with us soon and we needed an extra room. My husband who is a mechanic (and isn't impressed easily) but was extremely impressed with this product. The installation was fairly simple and the curtains attach to the track with clips. It can be hung from the ceiling or right on the wall. The ease in which the curtains open and close is awesome just what we were looking for and not even as expensive as a hospital track. The only negative thing I can say is that the larger track came in a box that seemed too small, so the track was a somewhat bent. Other than that...Great product!

I purchased 3 of the longest length for a row of 8 windows in our office. I was able to take off the end caps and fit all 3 lengths together for a continuous run of 28 feet. There is an ample number of clips; so many that I didn't use them all. We had trouble mounting the brackets as a ceiling mount and had to change to the wall mount application. The curtains tended to 'hang up' on the brackets until we switched to a wall mount. They are working very well and we are thrilled at the reasonable price for so many windows. We had priced a hospital version of room dividing tracks and the price was prohibitive. Great buy!

I live in military housing overseas, my home is old and built with center blocks. I purchased this rod to hide my washer and dryer in my “Office.” It works beautifully! I’ve never had any problems, and I move the curtains aside often, every time I do laundry. Everyone that sees my office set up wants to know where to buy these curtain rods. I had to get creative and attach them with mighty putty instead of screws and I needed to have the curtains hang a bit lower, so made the extensions for the curtains. All in all this is an awesome product. I would highly recommend it to all.
