Canopy Shag Area Rug, Soft Gold

This rug is perfect for us. It rolled out nicely with no bunching, is thick enough for my daughter to play on and when she falls down (she's learning to walk), she doesn't get hurt. We bought the rug with this in mind and we are happy. My only complaint is the strong smell of the rug when we first got it. It also has a slightly stange feel at first, like it's coated with something. The smell is now gone (we aired out the room for a few days) and the feel is disipaiting as well. Overall, the rug is a great value.

Been shopping for a gold shag rug forEVER! And finally found this super awesome perfect rug for less than half the price of any of the others. No picture on here does this baby justice. Who ever thought gold shag would be cool again? IT IS! And I love it.

Bought these for our bedroom. When I picked them up at the store, I was a little disappointed. They seemed kind of wimpy. Brought them home, gave them a good shake and put them down. Wow! They are soft and look GREAT!! A very soft gold color.

I had a difficult time deciding on a color. I could have used at least 3 of the available colors, and finally decided on the gold. Although, as some customers observed, the color is more of a golden beige and much prettier than some golds are. It looks beautiful in my large livingroom and compliments everything else in the area, in fact in the entire living space. I also ordered a smaller version and it is more plush and softer than the 60 by 96 owing to the softer non-skid backing. Love these rugs and when I can I want to order at least one more for my dining area. Once again, Thanks Walmart!

This rug is a great value for the quality and price. The only thing I would do at all is make it a little thicker or add a rug pad to make it a little softer when sitting or laying on it. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to cover a large space for a low price.

A great rug for the price! The color is not gold but more of a soft beige shag that worked perfectly in our modern living room with white sofas. We've had it about 6 months and it has been great for our newborn who needed something soft to crawl on instead of our sisal rug. Easy to care for, no shedding! You might want to use a pad underneath since it is somewhat thin and also can slide if you don't have it anchored with the furniture.

I was prepared to spend about $600-$700 for a similar shag rug from Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel. I'm so glad that I took a chance on this rug, purely becasue of the awesome reviews everyone gave it, and I'm so glad I did! I saved over $500 on practically the same exact rug, I love it, it's so comfy and I get a million compliments on it. Buy it. The soft gold color is more of a camel color, which is exactly what I wanted.

I searched area rugs online and in stores for weeks before I purchased this one. I was looking for an area rug slightly bigger than 4 x 7 size. This area rug was by far the best price I found. It is thick, comfortable under my feet and looks good in my room. I have hard wood floors and the rug has given my living room a more cozy feel.
