I flipped through this book in another store and immediately fell in love with it. The text and illustrations make it a perfect bedtime book. The verses are rhythmic and repetitive, ideal for infants and toddlers ("It's time for bed, little mouse, little mouse, Darkness is falling all over the house... It's time for bed, little goose, little goose, The stars are out and on the loose."). The illustrations are sweet and calm, like the cover, featuring a parent and little one on each new page. This board book is rather small, but it is a great size for my little ones who are 1 and 2. Walmart offered this book at a better price than the other store, so I ordered it through them and was pleased with the delivery and quality of the product.

We got this for our daughter (20 months old). Now she won't go to sleep without reading it at least twice. This book is wonderfully illustrated and calms her down as soon as we start reading.
