Honeywell Permanent True HEPA Air Purifier

This is a great product, I noticed right away less dust on my furniture. I clean the filter with a vacuum every 2 to 4 weeks. I use a vacuum cleaner that uses water for collecting all the dirt, after cleaning the air filter's black filter I saw so much dust in my vacuum i was really amazed by how good the air filter is. The air filter has 3 speeds, for those of u who care about efficiency; top speed=180watts, medium=120watts and low=80watts. Not too bad. I can't really comment on the noise because I prefer a loud fan sound at night because it blocks all other sound from outside, neighbors and etc.....
The only negative I find in this product is a blue light which makes too much light at night. I made a custom cover for it so it doesn't bother me, but it can get on your nerves if u don't cover it at night.

I have an Ionic Pro Air Cleaner, but it did not move air around at all. With the Honeywell, I instantly noticed the improvement in air quality. I like that this product does clean and move air around. Great for winter indoor living!

All in all, this is a pretty good product. The unit is rather large and needs room to work efficiently and by no measure can this unit be considered quiet but it does what it is suppose to and does it well. There was a noticeable difference in the air quality of my apartment after only a day of usage.

Before I bought this product, I reviewed probably 50 similar products. Of all of the products, this product was rated the best for cleaning the air, and also it was the cheapest considering that you don't have to replace the hepa filters. They are washable. I will be absolutely honest. I did not expect much from this product the first day. I just thought over time that my allergies would get better if I kept this thing running. It is unbelievable though. The first night, I noticed a major difference. Usually in the morning, my eyes are so full of matter that I can barely open my eyes. Also, I usually cough up stuff for about three hours in the morning. After the first night, I had very little in my eyes in the morning, and I only coughed for about 15 minutes in the morning. Also, my grandmother is 99, and she has allergies also. I have not had her complain half as much since I have had these units running (I bought 2). It also takes some smells out of the air which is awesome because I have to clean my grandmother's bathroom everyday due to her age. Sometimes, I just can't get the smell to go away, but these units pull the smell out of the air. Now, they are as loud as an air conditioner on high; however, I run them in night mode during the day. And at night, I run them on high. It works for me because I don't mind a little noise at night. Also, these units are very light if you want to move them around. In order to work perfectly, the units are supposed to sit 3 feet from any barrier. keep this in mind when you are buying them because you have to find a place to put them.

I got this product because we live in a very old house with a cat and a dog and a baby. Our house gets very dusty, very quickly and I thought that probably wasn't the best for my sons new little lungs. :) I tried this product and it seems to help out quite a bit. I put it in the hall between my sons room and ours (as it is a little noisy to sleep with in the bedroom). I actually like the sound of it and now I can't sleep without it (on low). Anyway, it seems to do the job and the dust has nearly disappeared in our bedrooms. Overall, it does what it says!

Does it's job and I love the fact that you can wash the filter so no more hunting for replacements!

A little loud but it seems effective so far. I have only been using it for a week. It was more cost effective getting the permanent filter and I trust the Honeywell name. I checked prices online, and Walmart.com was the best. Shipping took a little long but I opted for Site to Store shipping to save on that cost.

Its the best thing since sliced bread!!! Best investment we ever made. I live in the country where dust is a real problem. Two smokers in the house. Two dogs, one sheds alot. This machine has knocked out smoke, dog hair, and dust probably 80%. The house smells better too. We usually only run it on low too. Is fairly loud on medium, very loud on high. If we are not trying to watch tv in the same room we use on medium. Also is great for a large room.

I researched many Hepa air purifiers not just at WAL*MART but at all distributors, This product does really make a difference, I have COPD and I'm allergic to mold, this machine has made breathing easier. In a lot of the reviews people stated it was noisey, but it's no more noisey than a fan and being that I breathe better I can't and would not complain over a minor detail such as noise. I would recommend this to anyone with allergies, pets, and those who want to breathe clean air.
