I used to have a g router and my new computer seemed to get bogged down when I would be online and just not load the pages very fast. I work from home so I really needed a router to be able to do my job efficiently so I read the reviews on this router and figured the good outweighed the bad and bought it. Absolutely love this router. I had to call tech support to load it on my laptop and was on the phone for less than 10 min and was up and running and still up and running. Internet pages load fast and I can pull reports that I need faster and cut my workload down by more than half.

I have had two for about 3 months now both go offline and will not connect to my DSL modem's spend hours trying to get them to connect. They work good when connected but the routers drops the Internet way to much!!!!

This is a very good - great - wireless router. I have 2 computers, 1 runs Vista & 1 XP. I spent a little time on the phone with Belkin Tech Support and both a running like champs. Didn't even have to download any updates I will recommend this Router to any one wanting to go wireless.

Before you install, please make sure you have ALL firewalls turned off. (Per customer service). I was on the phone with customer service for an hour (they were very helpfull and patient) trying to figure out why I was not getting a connection. Come to find out, Norton 360 2.0 does not allow ANYTHING to come through (even though I had the firewall turned off). I had to uninstall Norton and then reinstall. After that, I got a perfect connection. Belkin needs put this in their manual. Now, I am receiving a message that my connection is not connected and for me to try again. When I click "try again" I get a connection. Not sure why this is happening, but will call back and get this resolved.

I bought this N router hoping to extend my range. It did! This router covers a city block without a dropout. My other G routers have about 1/3 as much range. Using the supplied disk, I was up and running in 15 minutes. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Some grief setting up the wireless (I set up the N1 card first, should have done the other way around). The tech support picked up after 10 min, been with them setting it up for 110 minutes, finally succeeded (channel change, enabled security< firewall finessed) to get a solid wireless with a Belkin N1 card (at 240-300 Mbps) and a 108 b Linksys card at a 108b speed simultaneously. Does not drop connections, I managed to connect to work VPN with no glitches. I tried conferencing Skype and it dropped it, but could be Skype or bandwidth as well. Overall very satisfied

I have had this for over a year now. Ever so often it just decides to go offline and will not connect with my modem. and I have to reset it a lot of times before in will connect again. I thought that it may have been the modem but I have changed it out a couple of times and I also have talked to a couple of customers that had this same product. They to are having this problem.
