I ordered two different safes and both of them were defective. The key pads did not work. The batteries that were included looked like they were leaking. The connections in the battery pack looked like they weren't very good. I returned both and ordered a different kind from another store.

Different safe arrived than pictured. The key pad was vertical instead of horizontal. Checked the model number and they match. Might have been the older version.
Unit came with batteries corroded and dead. Replaced batteries. Keypad still not working.
Key works.
Returning it to the local wal-mart was no problem.

Excellent small safe for my firearms and ammo would recommend to a friend only thing I don't like is there is no shelf, but I think I could measure and cut a piece of metal and fit that in to make a second shelf.

Safe looked kind of cheap, and was cheap. Keypad would not work even after new batteries. Keys didn't fit-finally got door open with extra persuasion. Returned to local Walmart with usual courteous service and refund.

Thin constructed walls, but VERY good for the price. Useful for keeping prying hands out of my stuff, but is not indestructible by any means...

Its a great product and that's about all there is to say about it. The product is a safe, its got great security features and even a backup key to use if something goes wrong with the keypad. Very roomy to store a good deal of paper work and other important items and documents.

Not alot of safe for the money (not even made by honeywell). Description is mis leading (make you think that it's a stong safe that's hard to break into. Can be opened with a HAMMER. Not same as picture, cheep electronics. Thin steel that drills right through or can cut w/tin snips. Not very protective, good for kids.

I just purchased this in-home safe. The quality is better than expected and set-up was easy. I purchased this safe to keep important documents, extra car keys and valuable jeweley in. In addition to our security system, I feel that the safe will be added protection against theft and fire.

The unit I received has a different control panel, the numbers keys are like phone pad numbers. This is a good thing.
Mine came scratched around the open wheel, the batteries were dead so i had to go out and buy new batteries which is a hassle. One of the corners the paint was cracked.
The keypad has an annoying beep every time you press the numbers. You can diable this by un-screwing the read-door plate and basically break the little black speaker off the circuit board. This simple hack will make the safe silent.
I use it to store ammo and a handgun and there's plenty on room left.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It is exactly what I was looking for and at the right price. I did lots of research on this product online and the best price was at walmart. I would recommend this to any one that is looking for a personal safe.

Well I ordered this safe to store a firearm. After getting it out of the box, nothing happened. I replaced the batteries and still nothing. I called the company, they said I could return it to the store or they could send me a new circuit board. I opted to return it to the store and order another (of the same safe). Needless to say safe #2 did not work either. I called the company again and they sent me a new circuit board, this did not help the problem. I am not so sure this would be the best safe to buy!

The safe looked great and the price was reasonable. The batteries would not fit in the digital lock and the emergency keys would not unlock the safe. Really disapponted. Returned for a refund.

The safe is top heavy and tips over if you don't bolt it down. I would recommend paying a little more for a better quality safe.

Was disaponted received product and had to have a new key pad sent to me the one that came with the untit was broke. The Vendor was helpful and sent out a new key pad so I could replace.

Great value for the money, easy to program. Especially love the bolts that allow you to make it a permanent fixture. Just wish it was fireproof (I don't think it is, at least the product description doesn't say that).

It fits right in closet, but make sure you bolt in it otherwise its easy to just pick up and run out of the house with. Very easy to program and great size.
