I was hoping this was much more like the old Sonic, but it wasn't. I was looking for a game on PS3 that I could play with very little PS3 skills. This was much more complicated than the old Sonic games. It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to spin. But I am sticking with it, since there are very little PS3 games that aren't sports or killing related. It getting easier, and a little more fun. I guess the only reason I didn't mind is because the game was such a bargain.

I brought this game because I had a Sega as a teenager and I loved the Sonic games and even still play the old system when I visit my parents. This game is nothing like the original version and I did not enjoy it but my kids like it. My son loves it and he is 8 so maybe it is designed more for kids in mind.

Don't waste your money on this game. It's nothing like the old Sonic the hedgehog. All you do is walk around and talk to people. Not even a kid would like it. Don't waste your time!!!

After playing sonic for so many years and the easy control, I was very dissapointed with how hard this game is to control. You can't control the speed that well. And the game overall was difficult, I personally as a adult got bored, and quit playing. Primarily because there was not enough save points for the difficulty of the game. Definately not a game for younger kids due to handling. Graphics are great of course and plot is great, just too hard to control!!!!!!

Unfortunately, Sonic has problems. The controller has some operational issues, especially accelleration and decelleration. Otherwise it is a great deal of fun to play--if you can master the controller for speed. I thought it would be easier to work.

Sonic is back in a brand-new game! You can play any Hedgehog including Sonic, Shadow, and NEW Silver!!! About Silver: Silver the Hedgehog, is a Hedgehog from the future. He has met another hedgehog called Mephiles, that looks just like Shadow!! His full name is Mephiles the Dark, so that means that he is not really a Hedgehog... Mephiles told that the destruction of his city is because of a Blue Hedgehog, Mephiles has teleported Silver, Blaze (Silver's friend), and Himself to the past. When Silver got to The City of Soleanna, He thought it was so BEAUTIFUL! Then he realized that all three of the people got separated while they where being teleported... Buy it to know the whole story!

The game does have some camera problems. You will find yourself not being able to see were you are running. It can get frustrating. There are also really long load time of about 10 seconds just to show a cutscene for 3 seconds and then there is more loading again right after that pointless 3 second long cutscene. Only buy if you really love Sonic the Hedgehog! I only recommend it because If you can look past the problems there is fun to be had.
