I purchased this steam mop in feb 08. I loved how well it cleaned and that it was multipurpose. I had to return it recently because the handle broke. First the extension pole on the handle got stuck, then the handle came off, lastly as I was trying to finish the floor with the short part of the handle it broke off where it connects to the plastic steamer unit. The company was willing to repair/replace but I had to pay for the shipping. I thought I would rather put that money towards a different brand that is heavy duty. Fortunately I was able to return it to Walmart. I will consider another brand of steam cleaner when I replace it. Overall it was much better than mopping anyday and I am disappointed it wasn't constructed better. Also the cord was annoyingly short. I had to change outlets several times to do all my kitchen floor. It barely did the master bath without switching plugs.

We put in laminate floors in our boys' bedrooms. You cannot mop them, so keeping them clean proved difficult. The Swiffer mops left them dull. I used this and they got clean very easy, scuff marks, sticky residue, etc all removed. I read the reviews and was a bit nervous because some of them said they got lots of water spit out. They must have had the setting too high. Laminate floors on low is great! I'm going to try using it on the shower floor next the grooves are always so difficult to get truly clean! My only complaint is I wish it came with a little bag to hold the attachements with and another mop rag. But I am going to try the microfiber rags I heard someone else try and liked. I do like that you can use other things on it with the clips. I feel it was well worth the money!

I feel so much cleaner with this steamer. With people always comming over and all the kids playing with each others toys this I like it safer than all those sprays with who knows what in them. I love the steamer it MAKES MY LIFE EASIER. It really works on most surfaces I clean everyroom with my steamer.

What a waste of time!!! I tried this a couple of times on both Tile and ceramic floors, this product was a big disappointment - I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, it spills the water rather than washing it makes a big mess, I had to scub the floor again after all the water drained out.

Thought it would take the place of alot of hard scrubbing etc. Didn't physically do much more tan a wet sponge could have done. Doubt if the steam is sterilizing anything either. Could not get it to clean our vinyl floors or shower glass doors. The small brush attactment was alittle helpful in cleaning the grout on my tile floor, but for my money it was a disappointment.

Not only does it do all that was advertised it would do, but it actually took calcium buildup off of the tiles in my shower. That is 4 years of buildup that no other chemical cleaners could remove. The steam must have loosened the calcium and soap scum and I just wiped the tile and it was gone. We live in Phoenix and have some of the hardest water in the country. I am going to try it on my pool tiles and see what happens.

I am very satified with the SteamFast Steam Clearner I purched. It does a wonderful job. I live in the country & have a Yorkie that loves to play in the mud. The steam cleaner takes care of all this little paw prints! Fill the water chamber plug it in & in about 30 seconds your already cleaning.

This was one of my best investments! Did everything I'd hoped it would do. Cleaned my tub surround, my faucets were shining, and a nasty job like the toilet, inside and out! Then I cleaned my kitchens floor and even my utility room floor, and it works great! It allows you to even spray your favorite smelling cleaner like Lysol w/bleach before you start to mop so it smells good.

I bought this because of it has several uses in one. I mop on a weekly basis, because our tiles are so porous, which I have alot of! Half my house is tile & grout So anything to help ease the burden of the messy mop bucket and water, I am willing to try! Overall, I am impressed with it's ease of use. One major drawback is it only comes with one large microfiber pad. After mopping a section at a time, I rinse the dirt out of the mop pad, and reuse. It is definitely less messier than lugging around a water bucket. After mopping sections at a time, I still wipe dry the tiles and scrub the grout. Alot of dirt does come out! I dont have an issue with the short power cord. Simply unplug and plug it to another outlet. The handheld steamer portion works fine too. I've steamed my slacks well, but with button down shirts, it's a bit difficult to get the creases out. I've used the handheld portion also to steam out my grout. Overall, good product, and I feel safe having my little toddler crawling on it. But maybe it's time to get a good tile & grout cleaning from a professional, so I can seal it and make it easier to clean in the future!

This mop would work well for a small area. I believe it would do better for tile than wood floors. I purchased it for wood floors and I have quite a lot of floor space. The cord was not long enough to do much area without having to replug it in. I would have considered getting an extension cord but I had to replace the pad 6 times to finish my floor space. The floors looked great when I finished and there was no streaking but I was exhausted because it does not glide easily and there were some issues with the handle moving awkwardly. I had to return it because it is just not practical for me. I have three kids and there is no way I could use this mop much!

Overall I am pleased with this mop. With a son that is crawling, I was looking for a good way to clean without chemicals and this works. The extra attachments are handy for cleaning tight areas or some place other than the floor. Although it only comes with one mop cover, an old sock cut across the top works even better. In addition it has clips on the mop head that allows you to use the replacement covers from other brands. I didn't have any problems with it leaving the floor wet unless I was using the mop cover that came with it which is a little too big and can hold water. My only complaint is that the handle is not very sturdy, but overall a good product.

The Steamfast mop really works well. My only complaints would be that the cord is too short and there was only one cloth for the mophead. I will definately be buying more microfiber cloths to make more. The attatchments are great...absolutely loved using it on my toilet to get in all the nooks and crannies where a regular rag can't go. I also used it to clean the wall where the kids had splashed food and stuff....the steam works wonders at lifting the dried on food. The floor dries up almost immediately when used on the low setting. Sometimes I use a higher setting if the floor is dirtier and then I have to let it dry a little longer....but no longer than normal mopping. Overall a good product...I use it daily!

The SteamFast Floor mop really does an outstanding job. The cover for the mop is useless, I use old dish towels. The towels absorb more and clean better. Removed hairspray build up on my ceramic tile floor in the bathroom. Really does a great job on all the tile and grout. Like any cleaning product a little "elbow grease" goes a long way. Don't expect the steamer to do everything, but it sure does help a lot with heavy cleaning projects.
The mop does a good job. I was expecting something a little heavier made for the price. The handle is similar to a Swiffer Wet Jet. To extend the handle you have to pull it out and turn it, while you are mopping, it will push back down. The mop works great, but the handle will probably pose a problem in the long run.

Product worked great on my linoleum floors. It got all the dirt close to the wall base even. My mop couldn't even do that. My floors are so much cleaner and it doesn't feel sticky like it would with floor cleaners. The best thing also is that you can use your own rag and the clips are very sturdy. Only bad thing is that my 2yr old got a hold it and dropped on the linoleum floor and the plastic cover where the water reservior is cracked. I used Gorrilla glue on it and still worked. That plastic should be a lot more tougher. The pole is a bit flimsy but not bad at all. Cord is short but can be dealt with extension cord. But it's worth it for the clean floor. Tried the handheld steam spray didn't see anything clean out of it. I can't go back to regular mopping again.
