I purchased this printer solely for the purpose of printing pictures that I have been storing on the memory card in my camera. I also purchased the glossy 4 x 6 paper. The quality of the pictures I have printed thus far is exceptional and far exceeds my expectations. The colors are brilliant and the images are quite clear. The pictures appear to be professionally developed. I definitely got my money's worth from this purchase and highly recommend it. While I intend to be the occasional user, I don't know how well it would perform under high demand conditions.

I bought this printer with the idea that I would only be using it for printing out school notes, the occasional flyer, letters, etc. I did NOT buy it to print photos at all. However, since they give you a few free sheets of photo paper, I decided to test it out! The photos are incredible! I printed out 8x10 pics that were true to color, bright, vivid and extremely detailed. This inexpensive printer is amazing and its FAST. I dont know how it is with high volume photo printing but for every day use and printing out those special photos - this printer is a great deal!

I've had this printer for about a week now it is great for the price. Printing time is a bit on the slow side, but I'm used to laser printers at work.

Outstanding unit in its price class. I have owned this model for over a year and replaced ink tanks twice. No jamming except from last weeks popcorn spill. Shook it out and it runs like new. Prints crisp pro quality high gloss photos. CONS: Ink says its low way before it runs out.

It was easy to set up, easy to impliment, easy to feed paper and quiet. For the price I paid it is well worth printing all my photos. Had I realized the cost of the inks, tho, I might have gotten a model using cheaper inks. Other than that I am extremely please with my new canon.

Printer prints extremely sharp text, and photos are superb! A little noisy, but overall, I am very satisfied. Paper has never jammed, and it is much easier to use than the previous Epson model it replaced.
