This 800-watt power inverter offers 800 watts of continuous power and a surge capacity of 1600 watts. Great for use with coffeemakers, TV/DVD combos, portable vacuums, oribital sanders, blenders and other mobile electronics. Converts 12-volt DC power into 110-volt AC power.

This can run a coffee maker from your car. We burnt out two other brand inverters... this Whistler makes the cut.

The unit appears to be what I ordered, at the price that I was quoted, but I've not yet installed it, so I cannot comment on it's performance.

I was impressed with the speed with which I received the inverter and was able to pay for it with my gift card. I have hooked the inverter up to a solar panel with two batteries linked in parallel. I have used it to light four lights in my shop, used it to air the tires in my tractor (at the same time) and had the lights and a fan going without any flicker of the lights or drop in power.

I would recomend this (and have already) to anyone intrested in power away from the house.

This is an excellent product, and less than half the cost at Walmart, compared to truck stops, etc.
