I bought these phones for $10 after a sale. They do reproduce good sound, not just for the money. Don't be fooled by the noise cancelling feature. It just makes the volume fuller/louder. I welcome it though. My little ears do just fine with the size and shape of the cushions. Cons: I wish the cable were a bit longer. Or at least the length between the headphones and control stick for noise cancelling/volume were closer together. The adjustment notches don't adjust small enough even for my big head. Weird.

No issues with this product, I was pleasantly surprised with the mini size od the ear cushion, I thought I was purchasing one of those big headphones that wear down on your ears after a while but these were surprisingly light !

I have been desperate for noise cancellation headphones since flying with screaming children, snoring passengers, and loud talkers. But, who can afford BOSE? Jeez! These are not BOSE quality but they are excellent quality for the price. They are comfortable and easy to store. Save yourself several hundred bucks and go for these instead of the BOSE.

I bought this product to use on the airplane to cover some of the noise, when I listen to my music. The product did deliver, but you can still hear some noise, not as much if you had a regular headphone. Only request: Philips should have a instruction manual with the product.

The point of buying these headphones for me was to cancel out noise. The only time they cancel out noise is when they are turned up to nearly maximum volume. Also, the switch to turn on 'active noise-canceling' only makes the headphones as loud as they should be when the music is played because the music runs through the system and filters it to be quieter.

I have been using this model of headphones for several years now. I have given a pair to my wife and have had at least three coworkers buy the same headphone from my recommendation. If what you want is comfortable headphones which can block out the noise around you...this will do the trick. I would recommend that you check prices before buying. Over the years the sale price has changed both up and down.

These headphones are pretty good as far as headphones go. The sound quality is very good. The noise cancelling ability leaves room for improvement. The noise cancelling switch is a bit cumbersome but for twenty-five bucks its a decent value.

I love the headphones. The only problem is that i am disappointed in the noise canceling issue. They do not block out as much of the noise as i was hoping for. When mowing my lawn i have to have both the headphones and my mp3 player turned up on full volume in order to hear. Other than that i really like them.

They're a good buy, they cover the ears and even hook around the ears, but if you walk away from it the little valume box falls and it pulls on the headphones and it jerks them. They also don't work if you don't put in the battery, and you can't turn them off, other then taking out the battery. They are good for what they where made for, if you plain on holding on to the valume box or puting it in your pocket.
