I have had about every coffee maker known to man. Most have been, use for a year and replace. I do not know how long the Brew Master will last, but it is a pleasuer to use. It is easy to set up (clock and brew timer) and lets you enjoy a cup of coffee without the normal headaches of the carafe. The timer lets us wake to fresh coffee and it is a breese to clean. I may never have another coffe maker!

I recently purchased this coffee maker and couldn't be happier. I was sick of dealing with coffee pots that broke, got stained, and did not keep coffee hot. The coffee taste better and stays hotter. Filling the reservoir is a little different than what I was used to but it's easy enough. I would definitely recommend this coffee maker!

My husband and I have had several Hamilton Beach products over the years. I especially like the coffeemakers without worry of a coffee pot. The previous items we had for several years were brew stations and of those I dislike this one. The lid is not overlapping inside the pot as in the prior years models & we have to mop the counter where it drips off from the lid on this machine. If you do not wait for it to totally cool off before opening the top water comes from all around the brewer. We recently had the 10 cup model & after looking over the differences in these two...I will return this model & go back to the 10 cup. We may possibly check out another manufacturer all together.

I was kinda leary about buying it,because I heard some bad reviews. this is the easiest and the best coffee pot ever. HOWEVER,if someone out there has nerve damage and/or maybe not such a steady hand ,may I suggest a measuring cup and a funnel. but I people are looking for a fantastic product then this is it !

We have had 2 of these coffee makers - the first one that came out then the one with the timer. Yes, ours leaks every once in awhile to, but I clean it up and go on. It's well worth it not to have to mess with a glass pot underneath. As for pouring the water in - I have mine next to the sink and I use the sink sprayer to fill it with. Very fast and no misses! This has been a great coffee pot and I will continue to purchase this kind. I Do wish you could see how much coffee is in the pot - the first Hamilton Beach coffee maker (without the timer) you could see it very clearly. Oh well - We still love this coffee maker!

We bought this coffeemaker because of the unique design with no glass carafe. It worked great for approximately 6 months and then it started leaking from the bottom of the warmer plate and drips all over the counter. We tried to replace the gasket and seal it so it would not leak any longer, but that was fruitless.
If the warmer plate were not a separate screw in item with a gasket that wears out this would be an exceptional product.
I would not buy this product again.

I am very disappointed in the coffee maker. First of all, filling the resevoir is difficult. Then, once the coffee is made, you cannot tell how much coffee has been made. I bought the unit about 6 months ago and the program button quit working this week. When all was working well, it did make a good cup fo coffee.

My daughter purchased this for me for christmas and within the year my coffee pot was leaking from the dispenser. she purchased another one this past christmas and here it is november, and this one is leaking from the dispenser. I haven't had any problems with coffee filters not fitting but I won't be getting another one.

Best Coffee Pot you can buy. Coffee does not sit on the hot plate cooking. We can save coffee for 3 days and reheat in the Microwave. (but be sure to remove the coffee grinds after coffee is made). I have bought this pot for my Family & Friends. Absolutely Love it..

How to Fill the Water Reservoir,

For those of you who have problems with filling the water reservoir, I have discovered a method that works well.
Instead of using the coffee reservoir to fill the revervoir, I have a two cup measuring cup with a pouring spout that I use. three cups full will make about 12 cups of coffee. I fill the cup, pour it into the water reservoir with the bottom of the cup inside the coffee filter basket.
This measuring cup is not bulky like the coffee reservoir, and easy to handle without spilling water all over the counter or brewstation.
We have had this Brewstation for 3 years, and have never had any problems with it. We use 1 cup of vinegar, mixed with 10 cups of water to clean it. I run this mixture through the brewmaster about three times, then run clean water through it three times.
My only complaint is the filter that is in the bottom of the coffee reservoir. Over time, it gets so clogged that the coffee is very slow in being dispensed. I have tried to find a replacement for it without success. I now use the brewstation without that filter in the coffee reservoir.

Had it for a couple months, I thought wow what a nice coffeemaker, then I started looking inside at that plastic where your coffee sits, started making me sick thinking that the plastic is cooking my coffee, it started looking almost like burnt plastic inside, yuk, then I found a puddle ,couldn't figure out whats going on and then another puddle later that night. it was leaking from the part that holds your coffee. i took it back, got another with a nice glass carafe. now i can wash that and see it clean.

I had the original version of this coffeemaker. The warming element kept wearing out. This model is excellent! Instead of a faulty element, they just insulated the caraf. It keeps the coffee very hot. The unit is a little larger than I would like but it's well worth the counter space!

I reviewed all the coffee makers on Walmart.com before I made my decision. And I want to thank all of you who helped me with this decision, it's the BEST coffee maker I have ever owned!!! I bought it yesterday was very impressed with how easy it is to set up and use. I can even get my Thermos under it to fill before I leave for work in the morning! My coffee stays hot in my Thermos and I don't have to prime it with hot water anymore. The best feature is not having a carafe which is messy no matter what brand I owned in the past. It's clean and neat, looks good in my kitchen, the clock is large and easy to read, and the buttons are easy to push. I highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone who would like a clean and efficient method to drawing a cup of coffee without drips and spills.

I both love and hate this coffeemaker. This machine is almost perfect for me. It has the programmable timer so I have fresh coffee in the morning. The simpleness of pushing the cup against the button to get fresh coffee is great. And yet, there is still a problem. This coffeemaker would be great for someone who goes through a pot in two to three hours and then turns it off. I'm not that someone. I have a pot going pretty much throughout the entire day. By the end of the first day, the coffee was scorched to DEATH. It wasn't burnt, it was obliterated. This is the reason why I still gave it four stars overall. It certainly is not a good machine for an "all day" drinker. It seems like it would be ideal for someone who will be through their pot in 2-3 hours. Any longer than that and the scorching begins. Otherwise, it's a good coffeemaker. It's fairly large as others have mentioned, so you'll want to make sure you have clearance under your cabinets. The entire top opens up to access the inner workings of the machine. I do agree that the opening for filling it with water is indeed tragically small, but is so by necessity. It is very easy to operate and program, and the front easily accepts a full-size travel mug as well. If you are the type of person who will use up all your coffee in the morning, I would say give it a shot. If you are like me and have a pot going all day, avoid at all costs . . . unless you like crispy coffee that is!
