I bought this product for my 8 year old son to use. The foam grips are a little big for small hands but very comfortable. It is a little heavier than I had wished, but is still reasonably light enough. He seems to do better with this paddle than the one he was using previously, and I have to admit I can get some pretty good movement with this paddle. For the $20 price range it is the best one that I have come across.

Very sturdy construction, locking ball detent makes it easy to disassemble. Excellent price, no question. A little heavy, but nicely made. Will purchase another when I buy another kayak.

I bought this paddle with little expectations other than it being a cheap paddle. As soon as I took it out if the box, I was impressed. It has great grips, a sturdy handle and curved blades. Overall the best paddle I've encountered for the money. I have some more expensive paddles(carbon fiber) and they are definatley a better paddle(they are a bit lighter) but not worth the price difference. if you are a whitewater kayaker, this paddle is not for you. If you are a recreational kayaker, it's a great one!

I bought this paddle for my 13 year old son. He absolutely loves it. I would personally prefer a lighter one but he doesn't mind at all, even after a 3 hour trip down the river. Nice big paddle ends, drip guards work great, even a little padding on the handle.

Without a doubt I would recommend this paddle for the $20.00. I purchase a $79.00 paddle at Dicks and this $20.00 paddle is as good and appears to be made by the same company. There is no difference except this $20.00 WalMart Paddle comes with foam handles to grip which is an added bonus. Buy this paddle for $20.00 is what I say ! I plan to buy another one for $20.00 as a spare.

i was very surprised by the quality of this paddle for the money. has held up well. keep in mind this is a shorter paddle, i'm 5'7" and it is PERFECT! it's no lightweight , but it's not a flagpole either. this has become my favorite paddle. i'm tempted to buy another at this price to have as a backup.

This is my second kayak paddle and I paid much more for the first one. This is an excellent value for the price. It works very well, is light weight and you can change the angle of the blades. Easily comes apart into 2 pieces, throw it in the kayak and transport with ease. I highly recommend this paddle. Just an FYI, I use on rivers and lakes. I do not and have not tried it out on rivers with big rapids, so I cannot offer a comment there. Happy paddling.

After getting our kayaks we went on a search for paddles. I had found this online and placed our order. This one was for her and I ordered a 96 in. Seasense for myself, also on this site. My wife was a little impatient and wanted to get out so I also purchased a pair at our local sporting goods store and paid 39.99 for them. I was a bit hasty in doing that. The ones I ordered came in less than 5 days and by far out shine the others in quality, functionality and price. She is one happy paddler and would recommend this product to all.

Very affordable and just as good as the expensive models sold at sporting good stores. Performs very well. Lightweight and very durable. If this one ever breaks I would buy another one. The only drawback with it is it's not adjustable, however I found the length to be just right.

For the price, the paddle exceded the expectations. Higly recomended. I just wish it was a little bit longer (8 feet instead of 7), but this is just me. If the size is ok for you, this paddle it is a very good product.
