I have to admit when we first set it up I was extremely aggitated with the whole process of sooo many steps and didn't want to keep it thinking I would have to deal with that all the time but after reading the directions 3 times,..I started to get it,....it definetly takes some getting used to after having a $10.00 coffee pot but the fast brew and being able to have my dunkin' doughnuts coffee at home is worth it....I'm sure it just takes a little practice and understanding and this coffemaker will be my best friend.

Excellent. It doesn't drip after you finish pouring the coffee. It makes the coffee bitter-free. It makes the coffee faster than 3 minutes. Site to Store. More great service. As for durability,We have only had it for 2 weeks. Only tip we can give. Leave the water fill lid open until you turn the pot on.

This is my first Bunn and it's great. I am a college student and need all the hot coffee I can get and fast. This is the perfect coffeemaker for the job. The only problem I had with it was after the third time using it, I noticed the coffee was not coming out as strong as I liked, I also noticed not all the grounds in the filter were wet. After checking under the filter I noticed I was missing the spray head which disperses the water nicely through the filter. It must have been loose when I got it and I never checked it, and I might have thrown it out with the filter. I called up Bunn and their customer service was very helpful and sent me out another one at no charge the same day. Now I'm back to great coffee. Word of advice: Make sure to tighten the spray head before the first use and periodically after that.

This is the Swiss Army Knife of coffee makers. Not a single fancy feature. Heck I dont even use the warmer as the coffee is very hot!!! The only thing fancy about this machine is the coffee, it is FanFreakinTastic, tasty and smooth, never bitter. It makes the 8 O'Clock coffee I buy at Wal-Mart taste coffee snob good. If every thing made in USA was made this good, GM and Chrysler would not be in the trouble they are in.

I love the fact that you can put it on in the morning and go and get ready for work or whatever you need to do and when you walk back to the kitchen it is ready for you. No waiting ten minutes for it to get done. Getting ready to purchase another one since the one I have finally bit the dust after 23 years. I only hope this one lasts as long. If not I still got my moneys worth out of it.

had high expectations from Bunn coffeemaker. had wanted one since I left work. The coffee was always excellent,brewed fast and really hot. This one brewed fast but made 5 different pots of coffee and was terrible, also not nearly hot enough for me. Needless to say, I was so disappointed, Also did not have an automatic cutoff which i consider a minimum safety feature.

I have serviced commercial Bunn coffee makers for over 30 years. The home version though outside is made of plastic the tank itself is stainless steel and the elements are closely to the exact specifications as the commercial version. The water sits in a tank and is heated and when you add cold water the heated water that is in the tank is pushed out leaving the cold water in the tank again to be heated by the elements. This ensures instant hot water and the least amount of wait time when brewing coffee. Bunn has been in business as long as I have been servicing coffee machines and other commercial equipment. They are a company that has a good reputation with the restaurants and hotels and I personally have had a Bunn home coffee maker for over 20 years without a problem. To get great coffee make sure you use filtered water and the taste of bitter coffee will be gone and the taste of the coffee beans will be enhanced. Chlorine in the water is what gets the bitter taste with coffee and to remove it you need a water filter with charcoal in it. Enjoy!!!!!!

I like the look. Do not like the floppy lid, get to the bottom of the pot and it all comes out all over the table. Do not like the bigger handle either. I have owned Bunn coffee makers for 15 to 20 years. Last one lasted 10 years, it spoiled me. Now if this one last ten years it would be well worth the money paid.

I usually don't respond to these things, but for years I've tried to find a coffeemaker that would keep me from spending my money at Dunkin Donuts or 7-11. This is it. Just ask yourself what Dunkin Donuts and 7-11 coffee have in common and its that both use BUNN coffeemakers. This little machine uses the same brewing method as their commercial brewers and the result is the same excellent quality as if you pais over $2.00 for a cupYou won't be disappointed.

i have been a Bunn fan for 20 + years. they were all great at first but DONT flip them over to clean the bottom. they will then start to leak. each one has lasted about 4 years and then something goes wrong! i love the quick cup of coffee. my latest one kept filling up the basket on top and overflowing all over the counter!! we cleaned it several times and still had the same problem. we are ready to buy a new one TODAY, and i'm finally going to try the programable mr. coffee jwx27. under $40, and got great reviews!!

Wow, very impressed with this machine. Coffee comes out fast and hot and very tasty. It's the weirdest coffee machine I have ever owned. It holds water in a reservoir, you turn on the heater and wait about 10 minutes. You can hear it making hot gurgling noise. Then you add a pot of water then put the pot on the pot heater, after it's placed on the pot heater close the water lid and the water you just put in will replace the water in the reservoir. As the fresh water goes in the reservoir, the hot water that was in the reservoir goes through the coffee grinds and pours into the pot. This happens fast, so thats why its so important to place the pot back on the burner " before " you close the water lid. This whole crazy process makes the coffee taste great. Buy a bag of Starbucks coffee at Walmart while your there, you can make your own Starbucks in your kitchen/garage/shop/office whenever you want.
It says in the little booklet that you should not make decafe or fine ground coffee. I agree, I made a full pot with 2 big heaps of grinds and it made a mess. I guess the hole got a clog some how and the coffee grind holder filled with scorching hot water and got all over the place, coffee grinds and all. This happend on my wifes birthday. So after I cleaned up the mess, I made another pot but only half full, like 6 cups mark and one big heap of grinds. It came out perfect.
This is the best coffee machine I have ever owned hands down. I can honestly say I love this coffee machine. I would recomend this coffee machine to anyone. The concept of it takes awhile to get used to but it's a great machine. I don't keep mine on all the time I shut it off after use, I feel no need to keep it on so the water in the reservoir stays hot all the time.
I had my doubts about this coffee maker, the price was a big factor, but I also did my homework just like you are doing and read the reviews. Homeworks done, class is over. I got an A+ now it's your turn.
