This is the first book I've ever read that I've thought every student needs to read before graduating.
It takes a difficult time in history and breaks it down for someone who doesn't understand. Bruno doesn't understand what's happening and doesn't agree with the party line. Somehow a nine year old boy who doesn't "get it" get's the Truth better than the grown-ups.
This book made me laugh and cry and now I'm sharing it with my kid. Some things should never be forgotten!
