Altho this is an older movie, it is well made. While not exactly accurate (Moses knew he was Hebrew and Moses was not a well spoken man - hence Aaron was called to speak for Moses) it is still worth watching to note the mighty miracles worked by God on behalf of the Hebrews.

This is a wonderful movie to watch with your children or grandchildren specially if they don't understand how the Ten Commandments were sent to us this movie explains alot of things about verses that are used in church like "Lamb Of God" and most of all it tells us who Moses was and what he meant to his people. I love this movie I can watch it over and over and never get tired of seeing it.

Both of these movies are excellent, I watched the silent film first and enjoyed the story a great deal. The modern color version is a masterpiece. Much scriptural accuarcy too so it really great.

The Ten Commandments in my view is a classic movie depicting the exodus with Moses at the helm from Egypt through the Sinai Desert to the Promised land. The cinematography, color and quality of these DVD's are wonderful. Charleston Heston did a superb performance in this motion picture.

This is the best motion picture movie ever created for viewing in the history of movie making bar none with only "The Passion of Christ" being it's superior in meaning. The cast is great, accurate and deliver a message that is universally inspiring. This is a movie of all times for anyone in any country who believe in God.

I purchased this DVD for my dad for Christmas. He couldn't find it anywhere so I went straight to Walmart.com to look for it and of course they had it. My dad had an old VHS version that he taped himself of off T.V. years ago and he wore it out. He called me on Christmas and said that is was awesome!! He loved all the features that the DVD had and that is included the silent film as well. There was so much information on it on how the film was made etc. He was very happy with it and so was I. The price was excellent and I got it just in time for Christmas. Thanks Walmart.
