The Eureka Optima 437AZ Turbo Lightweight Bagless Upright Vacuum features the exclusive Power Paw with Riser Visor for efficient cleaning. The turbo nozzle of the Power Paw removes pet hair, pollen, and other fine dust. This stairs vacuum cleaner features soft grip handles that is looped and ergonomic, and can be adjusted to more than 13 positions for added convenience. This suction power vacuum cleaner uses 12 amps of power for deep cleaning. This Eureka Vacuum Cleaner includes deluxe clear stretch hose, upholstery/dusting brush, extension wand, dust cup, and a 20 power cord. The dust cup is easy to be empty and clean.

Well..it's small, attractive and not as loud as my old vacuum which is a plus to my ears :-) However, the cord isn't long enough to reach the other rooms, and I live in apartment. I purchased an extension cord so I didn't have go through the unplug and plug process. I noticed the exhaust air in the front blows some of the dust away and that's a problem..and from the back of it, some of the dust is blown out.
In all honesty, I shouldn't be surprised going by the price.

A nice lightweight vacuum. It has good suction. The filter is messy to clean. Just wish I didn't have to replace the HEPA filter every 3-6 months. I wish the filter could be washed and reused a few times. The price was good also.

This vacuum would be good for an apartment or small house with short carpet. There isn't a height setting to adjust for longer, thicker carpet. It worked ok for my house but I have long carpet in a couple rooms and the adjustable handle got pushed back into the shortest setting due to the force needed to push it across the carpet. May work for some people but not for me.

Pro: Overall a very good product. The floor/hose feature is very useful. Suction and Suction+Brushroll feature also very useful. Very light weight easy to handle. The telescopic handle and the light weight makes it very easy to maneuver. The easy tilt feature also is very useful. Dust chamber easy to open and clean (except for the filer handle). Good product for the price range.
Cons: It should also have a brush roller height adjuster. The power button should have been located closer to the telescopic handle position. The filter is a bit hard to clean. Some of the dust which gets stuck between the filter and the filter handle is hard to clean.

Bought this for my 82 year old mother and it is light enough for her to use. The only problem she had was the manual was on the outside of the box and they couldn't find it. I think they should put a manual inside. Older people have a hard enough time with things. She likes it and she is very picky! But it is light and works well.

This is a great Vacuum. It works well on all surfaces. The only problem is cleaning out the lint from the chamber. It gets stuck around the filter. Other than that this is one of the easiest upright I have ever used.

I am a vacuum-aholic ! I have 5 pet's enough said! I have had my optima 4 yr's and I LOVE it! I bought a second one for my camper. I love the hose, a MUST feature! The light weight is great. I have neck and shoulder problems and vacuuming really bothers it, well that is before I got this vac. I have a Dyson too and use my optima more!! It is easier to maneuver in my kitchen and bathroom's. (Wish I had never got the Dyson! ) It is great on the stairs too, love the handle for lifting it up on furniture. Yep use it on the couch. As far as the filter goes, when I got my first one it came with two of them so I could wash one and use the other. I have never bought another filter I just clean them (or my husband blows them good and clean with our shop vac) One thing, to keep it light weight they use a lot of plastic and of course that is not top quality. I had to have the bottom of mine replaced twice and the company sent them out at no charge, can't beat that! I am picky about vacuum's, I have 7 right now, this is the best one for me. They are the reason I have 2 of these optima's, they were too heavy and or bulky!! Oh and the dust bunnies (on the tile floor's), actually come to the vacuum...really!! LOVE IT!!!

After owning for about 6 months I feel this is a very good product. I usually have to empty the canister after each use, indicating to me it is picking up the dirt and animal fur. The only complaint I have is the stair turbo brush stopped spinng shortly after owning. I contacted Eureka and they promptly sent me a new attachment, but that ended up with the same result. It would be nice to have but I'll have to live without. The filters can be found at many stores. I have several and switch off while they are drying...

this vacuum's suction ability is very good. i have been using it for almost three weeks now and it is really working, though it's a little bit noisy. my carpet looks very clean since i've been using this vacuum. have the right taccessories and easy to clean the cannister. i would recommend this product.

OMG! i don't know WHAT was in/on my carpet but i'm so thankfull i got this vacume!!! It got up stuff i couldn't imagine was there. It's compact and light weight, great for an apartment. It does stairs better than i expected. Great Machine!!!

I have only used this product a couple of times for in office cleaning. The only complaint I have so far is it is a little noisy (surprisingly so for such a small vacuum) But worth it! It picks up great, and the handle goes down for storage in small places. I would most definetly recommend it.

I purchased this product about 3 years ago. It lasted only 12 months before the powercord wore through and the cannister began to leak dust everywhere. Everytime I turned it on, there was a puff of dust. As well, the motor started burning out. It is a lightweight vacuum with a sleek design and easy-to-use attachments, but not worth it for only a year's use.

I purchased this vacuum about 2.5 years ago. When I purchased it, it was actually from with in a store and was about $50.
I thought this vacuum was great. I used it nearly everyday and to this day it still works....I just lost one of the wheels. And to be honest it probably broke when it was literally crammed into the back of a tiny uhaul with the rest of our belongings and taken over 3,000 miles.
I LOVED this vacuum and when I went to shop for a new one, I couldn't find it in the store and ended up having to buy another brand :(
If the wheel hadn't snapped off during the trip I'll bet this vacuum would have lasted for years to come. The plastic on it wasn't flimsy like I have seem with some other lower end vacs.....I loved this vac so much that I have actually kept the little guy with his broken wheel to use when I vacuum out my cars.

I bought this vacuum not even a year ago. Today the base broke off from the top. I have had issue after issue with it. It has great suction, but the filter is a mess to clean. When you want to replace the filter you cannot find one anywhere. I am still in disbelief that it basically broke in half(plastic snapped from base to top). I vacuum a lot because of my children, but I have never owned such a faulty product. The attachments have all broken(cheap plastic), and you have constant mess with the dirt container. I own no pets, so I can't imagine anyone wih them buying this headache. This vacuum is for a student or a single guy who only needs to vacuum once a week. It is a nightmare, and if I have saved one person from wasting their money and time(because after 10 months I have to get another) I have served my time well writing this review. Buy a diiferent one!!!!!!!!

Vacuum does a great job of cleaning. Picks up Dalmatian dog hair very well. My only issue is that I am used to bags and haven't found a good way to empty the dust bin without having to take a shower afterward.

I had had this vacuum for about a month now .. I havent had no Problems out of it yet .. now sometimes if you drag it the wheels squeal a little but I vaccum my house prob twice a week and so far for me it's been a Great Product :) ! goodluck

Great vacuum for hardwood or laminate floors. The switch to turn the beater bar off is awesome. I have several area rugs and laminate floors and this vacuum makes transistioning from one to the other easy. I vacuum 3-4 times a week as I have 2 dogs and this little vacuum works great! It also works good on my wall to wall carpeting in the bedroom. Only drawback is pet hair gets trapped around the filter, so I have to empty it halfway through, but other than that its awesome! I haven't had to sweep since I got it. It gets into all the corners and right up to the wall.
