I had a Sony Cassette, CD,AM/FM unit like this for years. It fell from the bookcase and broke so I knew I'd have to replace it with a like item. This is more compact and works even better than my old one. Since I hate to shop, seeing the item online and reading the reviews made it a perfect choice. It was cheaper to buy it online than at my local store, even with the s/h charge. Yeah Walmart!!!

I needed a CD player to go with the CD I purchased for my birthday. I wanted to hear Susan B. in my house rather than car so I could give it my undivided attention. I saw this little boom box on internet and the shipping cost was less than a dollar. Product had all I wanted for a price I could afford. It is wonderful except one thing - I do not care for the way the radio tunes. The CD player is easy to insert CD and sounds great. Would buy it again and told all my friends about my Christmas present to me.

I bought two of these for each of my 9 year old twins for Christmas. The buttons are large, and it is easy to operate. It made a good first radio for them to transport where ever they choose. Its well made and they both really enjoy having their own radios. It was exactly what I expected, and they were both able to use it without my help.

I was pleasantly surprised with the audio performance of this little unit and the quality of its consruction. The radio pulls in our favorite AM and FM stations with mostly clean sound. Some AM stations are hard to lock in but that is a minor consideration for us as we live so far from some of them. Sony has created a great little package at a modest price that fulfills my requiements. The CD player and play/record cassette player are added bonuses. We are very happy with this audio system.

This was not an expensive CD player but I was hoping it was a better quality since it was a Sony but it was not. Because of my son's age it is fine because he really does not notice the sound quality yet but for someone older who needs a quality sound go with another player.

The Sony Boom Box has excellent quality and performance. The compact unit fits perfectly on my office shelf, and sound quality is great for its size. This old dinosaur needed a cassette player in addition to the CD player. Cassettes and CDs have played flawlessly so far.

I have a house full of great Sony electronics. I bought this little boom box to replace a very similar looking sony boom box that my daughter has had for years. This radio does not sound even close to how great the old one sounded and the radio doesn't come in as well either.

Although I was looking for something with a little more power, but just as small (because of limited space) and because as I get older I need a little more "loudness," if you know what I mean, this is a very good product for the price and yes I would recommend this product just as long as you weren't looking to blast everyone out of the room that you're using it in. This product won't do that. Everything else is great!
