As soon as we hooked this up in our place it served its purpose without exception...for the first 6 months. I came to pull a bottle out of the cellar to have with dinner and to my surprise my wine was warm. The cellar was not functioning. The outlet was working as I tested it, the cellaring just stop working within 6 months of purchase! I called customer service who showed no sympathy for their product nearly ruining our precious wine. We have a replacement on its way so I'll see how long that one lasts.

This is an attractive small wine closet. There is one thing they don't tell you. Since it is a thermo-electric unit, it can only cool about 20 degrees cooler that the surrounding environment. This just barely works for us. But is you plan to keep your closet where it is very warm - warmer than about 78 degrees and you want you wine to be kept at 58 degrees, this unit can't do it!!!

The second this product arrived, I had to unpack it, plug it in a load it up.
Since then my meads (honey wines) has been chilled to perfection.
The description mentioned that the item was quite, but I have to be paying close attention to notice when the fridge kicks on.
It's compact, sleek and keeps the contents chilled great.
Worth every cent.

for the price paid, definitely a good value. but it is noisy, and seems like even though i keep turning the temperature down (which w/o a thermostat took a bit to get used to), it still kicks on quite a bit. but it looks great, and for the price, it does the job i bought it for!

Temperature swings at my home have ruined many bottles of wine. I am very pleased with this product. Although not 100% silent, there is only a very slight buzz when the unit is operating. If not full, the racks can be removed and an opened bottle of wine can be placed upright on the bottom. (I personally have never met an unfinished bottle of wine when uncorked amongst friends)
Two bottles of champagne can fit on one shelf with one pointing inwards and the other out. The unit is very sleek and looks wonderful. As a family friendly unit, four cans of soda fit on each rack . Which, I reluctantly suppose would convert this into a 36 can soda cooler. On the otherhand, soda is not worthy of this kind of treatment.
