Regalo - Easy Step Extra Tall Walk-Thru Metal Gate

This gate does the job but compared to another gate the locking process is more complicated.
It is best done with both hands and the gate opening is very narrow. For the money and the location where I needed the gate, it is a good value.
I would not want this in a high traffic area due to the narrow opening and more cumbersome lock.

We bought this gate to confine our small dogs (that jump high) while we are away. Our door-size was awkward--too wide for the gate alone and too narrow for the extension--so we had to be creative in making it work for us. We opted not to use the adjusters on one end to give us a better fit. Then we used trim work to keep it stable so that it wouldn't slip out of place.

Overall, we are very please with the gate. It is easy to open and close and secure, once the release is locked into place it cannot be jolted open.

The gate was at expectations. I however have to go sideways to fit through the door but that's because never lost baby fat.

This gate was just what I needed to keep my overactive dog in one room. The extra height is perfect and the ease of operation of idiot-proof! Strong construction and simple to remove and store when not needed.

I got this gate to keep my dog out of a bedroom where my cat eats and often sleeps. It keeps the dog out, but keeps the cat out too! I sawed off one of the spokes so my cat could fit through.

It's fine - kind of small opening and only swings one way.

THE GATE WAS NICE OVERALL BUT TO NARROW

I have a two year old that gets into the fridge and we needed a tall gate that he couldn't climb over because he figured out how to open the fridge lock we bought and he climbed over the short gate that we had. I almost didn't buy this gate because of a few of the bad reviews, but I am so happy I did. Its not hard to install, it just take a little effort. I have plaster walls and it stays in just fine, so I would imagine putting it up in a wood framed doorway would be even better. Its easy enough to open with one hand and easy enough for my 5 year old to get through, but my two year old cannot figure it out-even after watching us do it.

We have 2 cats that like to jump so this is perfect for height! We love that the door will still close with the gate installed. The bars are spaced great so that the cats can't stick their heads through. WE LOVE THIS!

Let’s see the only good thing about this gate was that it was cheap. I did a site to store on this thing and it took only 3 weeks to get here. Yes I said 3 weeks it’s not Christmas or anything so there’s no reason it should have taken this long to get the junkie thing. I was going to set this up on the top of the stairs to have a barrier to keep the dog away from the cats if they needed to run away. There’s a 3 inch gap that this stupid gate doesn't adjust too because the extension is like 6 inches. Furthermore the latch on top didn't even line up with the top bar so it swung both ways. It’s poorly put together and the welds look terrible. It’s going back to the store ASAP.
