This product goes through a lot of batteries and is not enough hours if a student because you have to basicly transcribe notes from class weekly, I only holds 10 hours of lecture at one time. It has decent quality sound and no way to pause, so you just have to start completely over on whatever track/file. So if you are just recording personal reminders, church sermons then its good. Other wise for school, counseling, and other important stuff buy something with more detail features with like 130-160 hours of recording time.

the fast forward is very slow, when i reach hour four and rewind to listen again, it takes me all the way back to the beginning. it also eats up battery. no versatility in speed choices in rewind or fast forward.
