Walmart was very efficient in this transaction. The CD player works fine, the FM signal is very poor. The blue numbers for the clock radio are very bright and not as easy to see as the commonly seen red numbers on other clocks. I would not purchase this product again.

the product description didn't mention that it had a dial style radio tuner and no antenna. I had a very difficult time tuning in a radio station, then as soon as I moved away from the product, the reception was gone.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for a older relative who has returned back to New Orleans after being displaced from Hurricane Katrina. She lives in a senior apartment and had to start all over from scratch. I thought this would provde the time, a radio and CD player all in one. She is enjoying it, so I guess it is safe to say that it is doing what it was intended to do. It is a compact unit that is displaying the time, she can listen to the radio, or play a CD for enjoyment.

My expectations were not very high after reading some of the reviews. After using the item for some time now, I must say, I'm impressed . The lighting is adjustable and allows the unit to double as a nightlight. The dual alarm and nap features are very useful. They allow me to (1) wake up in the morning to get the kids off to school, (2) know when it's time to get ready for work at night, and (3) take up to a 2 hour nap, all without having to reset the alarm clock. At the push of a button or two, you can easily program the unit so that both, none or only one of the alarms go off. You may also individually choose for each alarm to wake up to the radio, CD, or buzzer. The volume gradually increases when using the buzzer rather than the sensory shocking single-tone buzzer in some other alarms. Overall, it's a great reliable item! I found the instructions pretty easy to understand.

The CD player does not work at all. The AM/FM switch will only read AM, although it is playing on FM. Its buttons are confussing. The sound quality is better than most alarm clocks though.

This unit would be good enough for a CD alarm clock to wake you up. But it is not a very good unit to listen to music on regularly. I bought it to put in my newborn's room and the sound quality is really not that good, so I will probably replace it when he gets older.

Much better to wake to favorite CD than tacky FM or AM radio....but stations on radio function do not drift...so that is a plus. Clock numerals can be dimmed so they don't "light up" the whole room or your brain, but big enough to see across the room. Super sound, do choir rehearsal in bed with practice CD each AM...this is so cool! Price is so RIGHT!

This is an excellent alarm clock. The dual-alarm feature is great and you can set either alarms to wake up to either CD, radio, or alarm. The fact that you can go to sleep to a CD and wake up to a different track on the CD is great!
RCA thought of just about everything a consumer would want when they made this product. The only thing that I wish this product had is the ability to adjust the volume for the alarms so you can go to sleep to soft volume level and wake up to a louder volume level. Other than that, I'm sure this is the best alarm clock you can find for how cheap it is.

The dual alarm system is ridiculously overcomplicated, the cd player stopped reading cds after 2 weeks, in the last week it has started keeping slow time, and now the snooze function has gotten all weird. It gave a pretty short snooze time to begin with, but now it's down to about one minute. Very odd problems that I've never had with an alarm clock. Disappointed at all the bugs in this machine, which was overpriced to begin with.
