This is actually my second thermoelectric Cooler, and they both work great. We use it in the back seat on the way to the cabin and use it in the cabin as a refrig.

This is an excellet cooler to use in the car instead of one that holds ice. It stays super cold and no worry of leaking water in your car. Exteamly light and easy to carry.

Very handy

This cooler was large enough to hold plenty of items for a very long road trip. If you want your items to be cold, be certain the items you place in the cooler are cold from the start. Otherwise, it takes a long time for them to cool down. The cooler is very quiet and fairly efficient.

Coleman Powerchill

The Powerchill is very quiet. My only complaint is when attaching the lighter adapter into the attachment for plugging into the wall outlet is was not snug and would lose connect with very little pressure or movement. Need to make sure it remains connected. It would be wonderful if the company corrected this error in design.

Great product, but had some hiccups

I first bought this product about four or five years ago, (Well, I originally bought another one, but it had a bad electrical connection, and I had to take it back...) I have had good and bad times with this and I must say, I really like it, though the wiring could be a bit better than they made it. My first one had a melted fuse when I was trying to use it getting ready for a six day long trip. I was lucky I still had my truck because it could have burned to the ground. I had to take that one back to Walmart, and they were very kind to me and let me exchange for another one. The one I have now, (I've had this one for over four or five years :-) ) has worked really well, but I had it plugged in and we had a bad storm here, and the wiring melted from the contact due to a power surge. I eventually fixed it and it has worked really well since. I now use it for my portable coffee business. The milk and cream stay nice and cold. There's a LOT of room in there, (enough for three half gallon, one full gallon, one quart and a whipped cream whipper that I put in there, so that I can make the various drinks I make...) and that's STANDING UP!! ;-) I would recommend this to people who need a relatively affordably priced cooler they can use without ice.

Superb cooler, works great on camping and road trips. It seems to operate better standing or (vertical) than horizontal. I notice that when horizontal it freezes. Overall great cooler, work perfect inside the camper as well as the vehicle. Really handy to have refreshment while driving, or that cold drink during a rest stop. I have it for about year and half and I love it.

I bought this Coleman Power Chill 40-Quart Thermoelectric Cooler with Power Supply for my son-in-law for Christmas. He told me that was one great gift that he received. He uses it in his office under his desk. You can use it also if you are traveling. I am thinking about getting one for myself.

We had an older version of this cooler which lasted many, many years. It was a great cooler, but this one is the bomb! It really keeps things brrrr...cold! So glad we bought it...and would never want a different brand!

Only used this cooler on one trip so far, but it works exactly as advertised. Had other Coleman thermoelectric coolers in the past, so they don't last forever. This one is quite a bit quieter than the one we had before. At this price a good value.

We are traveling soon ;and wanted a cooler that plugged into the car. We had one before and really used it a lot and liked it. After many years of service, it quit so we wanted another. We haven't used it yet in the car but did try it out plugged in to our household electricity and it cooled rapidly and appears to be good.

If your a truck driver and use everyday, this is NOT the one for you. I've been through 2 in 2 months. Freezes up and kills the motor... Used the old coleman for years before it finally died and it was easy to replace parts... going to try another brand, wish me luck!!!

This cooler works great in our SUV while traveling and in the campground once we arrive. I put a frozen bottle of ice in it and it kept things super cool even when it was unplugged for several hours. It is the second one we have owned. This one has a bigger fan and runs a little quieter which is nice.

Compact but well designed. Keeps soda cold, not just "cool". We have it in the storage area of our motorhome and it fits great. Easy to pull out and very convenient.

A Good, but changed Product

This product is the 4th one I have owned....after about 20 yrs. the first one finally gave out in the fan motor and also I've had one adapter go in all that time. One has been used for two different months, 24/7....and has been perfect. If on for a number of days, it can even freeze some beverages. The change in the product is that my first three could both cool and heat......and all you had to do was line up the blue or red spots on the plugs....for cooling or heating. The new one I just purchased only cools, no more heating, which is fine, because the majority of the time I use it for keeping things cold.
