The Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme Cooler keeps up to 98 cans cold for up to five days, even in temperatures as hot as 90 degrees F. With environmentally friendly ThermOZONE insulation, this Coleman Xtreme cooler allows you to keep your drinks cold. Featuring a hinged lid with four built-in beverage holders, this Coleman 70-quart cooler also has two-way handles for easy lifting, allowing you to take it where it is needed. This Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme cooler also features a channel drain for no-tilt draining of liquids, making it simple to keep clean. I bought this for weekend camping and emergencies. I live in the Pacific NW. Pacific hurricanes (yes, that's right) are frightening, and tsunamis are planned for. This cooler I hope should be a good three-day backup if the power goes out.

took this cooler up to mammoth ca. fishing i put 1 block of ice and 1 bag of of ice , and 30 pack of beer.It lasted for 3 days and still had cold beer when i got home

I needed a larger size cooler for an open house at my shop and this one seemed to fit the bill with the claim of keeping ice for 5 days in 90 degree heat. Within 14 hours of adding drinks and ice to the cooler, half or more of the ice is gone in a shop that averaged 70 degrees for the duration and the cooler leaks around the drain. (All the drinks that were added to the cooler were pre-chilled in a refrigerator.) So much leaked that the table it was on is now soaked and most likely ruined. The insulation is also very thin around the drain and the resluting condensation added to the leak. I was quite let down by the poor quality of this cooler.
It goes back to the store tomorrow for a refund.

Great cooler! Last year I purchased a Coleman (non-Xtreme) and promptly returned it when it was worse then my 25yo Coleman. This year the Xtreme blew my old cooler out of the water. Old cooler to the garbage and I plan to buy another Xtreme.

this product did what it claims it keeps the ice for 5 days if you add allot of drinks during that time you will need to add ice but i had cold drinks for 5 days and more as the water stayed cold as well

We had been looking for a new cooler in stores. We figured we'd get a good buy, seeing as it was the end of the summer season. No such luck. Standing in one of these stores, my husband looked on his smart phone at walmart.com and found exactly what we were looking for. With free shipping, this well-made and very functional cooler became a steal! I even sent a picture of him next to the cooler to the rest of the family when it arrived as we were so delighted with the purchase!

I looked at the reviews on coolers that may fit my needs for my trip and based on the reviews I choose this one. This cooler was exactly the cooler I needed for my camping trip. The cooler kept all my meat and other food nice and cold for the entire trip which lasted 4 days. This cooler was the best cooler I have had so far and well worth the money I paid for it. The down side was the handle fell off but it was an easy fix. This cooler will be used on all my trips. I highly recommend getting this cooler for keeping your food or drinks cold for up to 4 days.

I love your Home Free $45.00 min. shipping. I live on Kauai, Hi. And this size Coleman 70qt extreme cooler has been discontinued on Kauai Walmart. I'm a fisherman and this size cooler is the perfect size. I recommend this cooler to anyone who fish,dive or just have fun @ the beach etc. Please bring this item back to Kauai Walmart, Mahalo!

Used it camping for 4 days in 58-85 degree temperature. Food was still very cold (not frozen). Little bits of ice floating around. Large enough to pack food for 4 adults and 4 children.
Sacrificing an extra bag of ice the day before you pack (like the direction says) helps immensely. Keep it in the shade.
Tip: Freeze as many water bottles as you can (if you're going camping). Most will be ice water by the 3rd day.
For the price, it is such a GREAT deal!!

Used this cooler for a coming home barbeque for "Granny Sue",and was very impressed at the performance of my 70qt. Xtreme.Ice lasted about 6 days,all the drinks were COLD,even though most of the time nobody closed the lid all the way when getting a drink-impressive.Got to be the best under 40 dollar cooler on the market.Lack of strong hinges and no lid strap are the only negatives(this is easy to correct).Way better than my old plastic Coleman 50qt. that now serves as a part storage bin at work.As good as my Igloo Max Cold,which cost more .BEST COOLER VALUE-COLEMAN XTREME-GREAT PRODUCT.

I purchased this after reading reviews, and am very happy with it. It is larger than I needed, but worth it. I travel away from home a week at a time for my job, and wanted to carry food and drinks. I put in 3 bags of ice on Monday morning, and when I returned Saturday morning, I still had some ice left in the cooler! Have never had a cooler that kept ice this long.
