This fan/light works VERY WELL! It may be a little heavy to carry the batteries you will need for it, but hey, this thing works! It is also very durable. I have dropped it once, the plastic guarding the LED bulbs was scratched a little, but the fan is still fine. The main light is bright, and the night light is dim enough to not wake you up. On some tent fans, you can't feel the breeze on full blast. This one, however, you could feel the breeze even with the fan on LOW. The only downside is that it is heavy, and could put strain on the tent fabric, so I would be careful with it. The switches are easily accessible, and I would not mind using this around little kids with the fan blades made of a heavy duty foam. It also works to vent out the tent, even when it is pouring rain outside, or snowing.

I think the fan is priced great. I wish it would put off alittle more wind, but for the price it is great. I do tell people all the time about them. I own 4 of them and will not camp without them, summer or winter.

The fan worked well but it did not move air enough to make a difference in a seven person tent, even on a cool night. Also I had expected the LED lights to be brighter and they werent. The nightlight part was okay. Very easy to operate though and safe for children.

The fan on this item is very weak, even on high. It really doesn't move very much air in the tent. I have a 10' x 13' x 6' tall six man tent and could not tell the fan was even on for the most part. The main light is also very weak, it doesn't put off enough light to do much of anything by. The night light on the other hand is the best feature it has. It does a very good job cutting through the darkness.

Hung this from the center of our tent and it produces just enough light to get dressed by without the shadows being seen on the outside of the tent! The nightlight is great and the fan, although not real powerful, does seem to bring in fresh air. We had it on the other night and got a little cool so we turned the fan off. The tent became somewhat stuffy which corrected itself when we turned the fan back on.

This item is pretty bulky and heavy due to the 4 D batteries it requires. The fan really isn't powerful enough to do much of anything as far as circulation or cooling. The light is nice and has a nightlight setting too. Just get a lightweight clip-on flashlight for your tent. Try the other type of fan that clips to the tent window for air circulation.

We bought this product thinking the fan would be what we'd love -- but actually, the light was what was incredibly handy. We were camping over a 3-day weekend with a toddler, and it was very nice to have a light in the tent. Also, when she took a nap during the day, we put the fan over her pack-n-play, and it gave us some peace of mind that she wouldn't get overheated in the warm tent. The fan is not super strong, but it's enough to keep things moving. Also, the magnet attachment device is pretty cool & very versatile -- with two people maneuvering it, you can put the fan anywhere you want in your tent.

When I opened the box the magnet was not glued in so I couldn't use it. So instead I hung it using the piece that is supposed to hook to the magnet piece, and that broke the first day. Poor quality product. The fan did work ok, and the light helped being able to see in the tent. But I still had to use my headlamp, as it wasn't very bright.

Loved it, came in very handy in the Arizona forest recently. Also used it in San Diego camping and both times it cooled our small tent (6x10) and lite the way. Do not expect airconditioning, and just be happy for a nice breeze while napping you won't be disappointed. Fairly quiet, foam blades so we propped it up on the back of the airmattress, faced it towards us and it was perfect.

Although we live in the Midwest and experience 90+ degree weather, this fan actually worked! Granted, it didn't cool the tent down during the day but did keep the air moving. At night it was almost chilly with it on! The night light feature is perfect and it gave me that white noise for sleeping. A lot more energy efficient than I ever imagined.

i LOVED this fan!!!! a friend of mine an i went camping the last week of august in oklahoma so we all know it was hot!! these little fans were a life saver!!!! i bought some cheap batteries and they worked good but we also had name brand batteries and they were 100% better. i would strongly recomend this product!!!!
