West Bend Stir Crazy Popcorn Popper

My new daughter-in-law mentioned that a popcorn popper was the ONLY thing her kitchen lacked. She wanted this model because she had one growing up. She likes how easy it is to use, and that the top becomes a bowl.. I had to search for it...and ONLY found it on the Site to Store website. --She was thrilled, and loves it!! Now I'm a popular mother-in-law! Thank you WalMart and West Bend!!! It's a good product, and she and my son are really enjoying making popcorn.

By reading some of the ratings about this product, I decided to purchase them; however, it turns out that this product is not as good as the ratings are. My big complain is that this product does not pop all the kernels. In fact, it pops only 50% of the kernels. The rest is wasted...throw away. The second problem is, it takes more than 5 minutes to pop them. In fact it takes more like 7 to 10 minutes. Third, this product does not have an on and off button. I have to literally yank the power cord off the wall jack to turn off the power of the product. This is very unprofessional.
I'm returning this product.

Bought this one as a gift, already have one. We absolutely love it! Trying to cut out the "bad stuff" in microwave popcorn, yet simplify the stove top method. We use olive oil, no salt, and season to our liking when it's done. Not one kernel left behind! Haven't tried the buttering top; reviews weren't favorable. Highly recommend.

This is my third westbend cornpopper, my other two were used in a factory and lasted for 5 years on an almost everyday setting.

Finally wore out my first Stir Crazy (after 8+ years!). Love this product. Popcorn pops quickly and with very few unpopped kernels.

My kids love to watch it!

Would highly recommend for any lover of popcorn!

I have had one for years and purchased this for my daughter and her family. It is a really great product and Wal-Marts price is great. I have seen other places for $35-$45.

The popper was excellent except after only two uses the non-stick surface began to flake off.
Obviously this made the item unusable and will be returned.

I have used this product for many, many years. To me it makes the best tasting popcorn. When my other one wore out from the constant use, I had to have another one. I would highly recommend this product.

I have enjoyed popcorn done the old-fashioned way since I was a girl, when that was the only way it was done. Along came hot air popcorn and then microwave popcorn, but they just can't beat it. I have used a West Bend Stir Crazy Popcorn Popper for years and just bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law, who was popping hers on the stove still! She loves her new popper. My son moved out recently and took our old Stir Crazy with him and we have a newer one. As you can see, our family is big on popcorn done the right way! And if you like some hotness to your popcorn, put a few drops of hot sauce in with your oil and it makes a wonderful tasting popcorn. People love our "hot popcorn."
