I BOUGHT THIS TO USE IN MY UPSTAIRS FOR THE SUMMER SO THEREFORE I HAVE NOT USED IT YET. I DID PLUG IT IN TO TRY IT OUT AND IT SEEMS TO WORK VERY WELL. IT DOES BLOW GOOD COOL AIR SO HOPEFULLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS IT WILL DO WELL. I WILL WRITE ANOTHER REVIEW ONCE I GET TO REALLY USE IT.

My fan died and I needed a new one pronto...in the dead of winter when no fans are sold in any stores where I live. I got my fan in just a few days after ordering online. The fan is quite powerful on the highest setting but the feature that most pleased me was how light the fan was. My old one was rather heavy. This fan was so light I thought the box was empty! I just love this fan to death!

Great Fan!! Very Powerful, the Low setting is almost as strong as a High setting on a standard fan. I bought it for my husband who likes to sleep w/a fan going, its a little Loud, but on the low setting its great for the background noise he likes & it can Really Moves Some Air!!

this is the best fan you can buy for the money.i own 2 of them, going to buy another one before the price goes up. i use mine to put behide our wood burner to heat our house. it is powerful enough to send the heat through a 728 sq.ft house. it's on non stop in the winter.1st one still going and 4yrs. old but only used in the winter. bought the 2nd one for fear the 1st would give out. i would strongly recommend this fan! alot more power than the box fans!!!

This fan is fairly quiet and with our current weather (fallish - although we use a fan all year long) it is serving its purpose. We would have liked to purchase a metal fan but were unable to locate one. It is very light weight which is great but, if it were smaller I would like it better.

This is the 4th fan I've purchased! I have one in almost every room - 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs, near the windows - bringing in the fresh air. This fan has a strong breeze, not a weak one like most fans. Awesome to sleep to and keep the upstairs cool!

The fan is well designed in that it moves a lot of air. It is 100% light plastic, so it will not likely be as durable as older fans, but it is relatively quiet, and tilts for better directing the breeze.
Walmart did a good job with timely delivery, they followed up well with email, and the price was the best I found after a quick 15 min. web search.
Probably the best thing was that I didn't have to go into the store. A pleasant buying experience.

I bought this fan to help circulate heated air during the winter. We heat with a wood stove and in an adjacent room with no ceiling fan I needed something to stir up the air. This fan adjusts 180 degrees so it can sit on the floor and blow straight up. The three speeds are reasonable, too. It's all plastic, but unless you plan on kicking it around, it's a super value.

I LOVE THIS FAN!! it blows a good strong wind, even set on low. it is fairly quiet, and yes, it does make for some great white noise. because of the low price, i bought one 5 years ago, thinking it wouldn't last any more than a year or so. i use it pretty much year round, and it's still going strong! i got another one last year for backup ~ it's still in the box. the only thing i don't like about it is that it is REALLY hard to clean!! since it can't be taken apart, i was just vacuuming the outside as best i could. then, by accident, it got knocked over & almost all the stuff inside came off! so, i just laid it on its face & tapped the backside until almost all the dirt & gunk was gone! now it is just as powerful as the day i got it!!

We already had one of these fans, bought more than six years ago, and are so impressed with its efficiency, that deciding to get another one was a no-brainer. The new one, I'm happy to report, also lives up to our expectations, is quiet, and we really like the pivot feature. The dogs, too, love laying in front of it during our really hot temperatures. Ordering was easy, and delivery was fast and flawless. Good price, good value.
