26" Kulana Lua Tandem Bike

This is a very sturdy two seater bike. Great for the beach or just toodling around town. It is a head turner

I bought this bike to ride around the lake at our cabin. I wanted something around 200.00 that didnt have all the bells and whistles. This bike was what I was looking for. If you want a bike for riding up hills and long distances etc. this is not the bike for you. It has no gears and has pedal brakes. We enjoy it and it is a lot of fun to ride. The only thing is when one person stops pedaling the other has to be in sync. That takes a little getting used to. Like the other reviews mentioned, you will get a lot of compliments especially when leaving the store. Everyone there wanted one. Oh...have it shipped to the store and they will put it together at no charge. That was great. They put it together the same day it came in and it was ready soon after.

I bought this on a whim and have been very impressed with what I got for my dollar. Assembly was simple with no instructions. Put a wheel on, put seats on and attach handle bars. My wife thought this was a stupid purchase, now she wants to go ride. Its fun with someone or is very easy to handle, solo. It gets plenty of looks.

The paint color was a very fun yellow, and the bike looked like it would have been a lot of fun. We were just VERY DISAPPOINTED in the shape of the parts. We had to return the bike to the store; a light was busted, the wheel and teeth the chain fit on were bent, and the handle bars were not manufactured correctly.

The product came to the "site to store" earlier than predicted. I asked them to assemble it and when I came back 24 hours later it was done~~it was quite a sight pushing it through the store. Heads were turning everywhere!!! My 10-year-old, who has yet to master riding a bike, is having no trouble as my co-pilot. Hopefully this will enable her to ride her own bike soon. Thanks WALMART!!

The bicycle is fun. The front rider needs to learn to peddle with his/her toes and balls of his/her feet rather than with his/her arch or heel, otherwise the front tire will rub his/her feet on sharp turns. The second rider's knees can bump the first rider's butt while peddling. Also, both riders need to learn that if they want to rest while riding, they must take their feet off the pedals, otherwise it stops the pedals of the other person. It takes a little practice with balance. It's not fall-down type of imbalance, just an unfamiliar wobble with the other person on-board.

The bicycle is easy to assemble (we have the model without brakes). The pedals are marked Left or Right, this is because they are threaded in opposite directions. However, the instructions are very poor as they are for a single seat bicycle. Also, I sliced my finger on a burr on one of the pedal nuts.

Our girls love it and all the kids in the neighborhood want to go for a ride! Great bike!!

My sister and I are in high school and we ride this bike daily as our new car. It is so much fun, the ride to and from school and work (about 2 miles) barely feels like two miles. We live in a small town, so the Yellow Submarine (that's what we call it) is pretty famous. When people see you on the streets, most people wave and smile.
It was a bit tricky to get on the bike rack at school because of the size of the bike. My sister and I definatly have the coolest bike on the rack. The seats can be a bit unconfortable on longer rides.
Purchasing helments is a major priority. At first, It is a bit tricky to get the hang of. Accidents can be prevented.
My sister called to the Site-To-Store people and the people behind the counter put the bike together. However, a lot of the bolts, screws, and other connecting parts were loose.

My husband bought this bike for me three months ago and we love it! He had it together in 15 minutes and my kids and I are on it every day! We may have to get another one! It is so fun and it makes you feel so young. This bike is a memory builder!
