The chair is better than advertised. The chair is extremely comfortable and really easy to open and close the chair and when closed the handles end up on top for easy transport and the chair is very lite so carrying it is extremely easy.

I can't sit in those umbrella chairs. My knees end up even with my ears and they are almost impossible to get out of. Tried out these chairs at a friend's. I'm 240 and they don't groan when I park it. You sit higher than most canvas chairs. My wife (who has back trouble) and I both found them to be the most comfortable camp/folding chair we've ever bought. Great for sitting out on patio reading and pack away pretty well. They fold flat. Very sturdy
There is another model of this chair that I prefer. It has a folding table incorporated into the chair with cup/bottle holder. V handy for morning coffee, room for a book or a small ashtray.

We were looking for an alternative to the typical portable chairs, to use while watching softball games. These looked sturdy and comfortable, and after reading several reviews purchased 2 of them, as they are only available on-line and not at the store. Once they were delivered, we found they were very sturdy and easy to use, however they are not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. Both of us switched back to the old chairs which provided better back support.

these fit perfect in our boat. great height nice and roomy to sit in, light weight and fold almost flat. they were cheaper at wallmart than the coleman store. we bought them mainly to put on our boat and so far so good!

I bought this chair because we camp alot,and most of the other folding chair have plastic in them and you have to replace one or two chairs a year.These are very sturdy and have no plastic parts to break. Are very easy to get out of even it you have bad knees.

I got this chair for my retired, Disabled Mom. This chair is well built, sturdy, yet light weight and folds up flat. The padded arms, seat, and back add comfort and style. Mom can easly fold and load it in the trunk to use at bingo, camping, BBQ's, or when ever a extra seat is needed. Everyone wants to sit in it and feel it out and then ask...Where did you get it! "LOL" I like it so well, I got my self one. No more weak, wobbly, uncomfortable resin chairs for us!

I bought this chair for better back support at outdoor events compared to the foldup chairs that are so popular but hard to get out of. This was much more comfortable, provided good support and was very sturdy. The only change I would suggest would be longer straps to carry the chair. The straps are on the arms of the chair and are too short. Otherwise, love the chair.

My wife cannot get out of those canvas chairs that fold into carrying bags. She has no problem with this chair. In addition, it is comfortable and my wife said it's wide enough that she can knit in it.
It's a little stiff folding, but not too much. Extremely light weight for all the metal support it has. Easy to carry.
Now I want one.

Although not as compact as the chairs in the bag I still find it manageable, lightweight and very comfortable. They fold up nicely and are very easy to carry with the handles. Also quite sturdy. They will come in handy for the many outdoor events we attend. Always happy with Coleman products.

Getting ready for a camping/trip to the beach, looked for a chair that will accommodate a large friend who is going along. Have had camp chairs break under this person in the past. This chair is very sturdy, and comfortable. My friend used for an evening so far, no problems. Easy to get up from seated position, also, if you have difficulty in that respect. It has handles made of the seat material, and very easy to carry. It's a tad pricey compared to other chairs, but if it holds up, well worth it.

I choose the Coleman chair because of lightweight alum. design, and seat support. When you sit on it you notice the support in the seat; remains flat, no sag. The cheaper collapsable chairs have you sitting slumped and uncomfortable. Also, the chair is lightweight at half the weight. Last, the chair seat is accomodating enough to adjust to one side or the other when shifting positions. Try doing that in a cheap collapsable chair.
