Keep your little one busy with the VTech Move and Crawl Electronic Activity Ball. It features colorful light-up buttons that will introduce your child to the world of numbers and shapes. The motorized, self-rolling ball keeps your baby on the move and encourages him to crawl. This baby activity ball also has six adorable animal buttons on its surface. Every time your baby presses these buttons; they call out animal names and their sounds. It requires 3 AA batteries for power. Excellent toy. It is used by our 8 month old who only rolls to move from place to place. It is fascinating because it just takes a small nudge to get the ball to move and to begin its sounds. The small cloth tabs hanging around the top area are of interest to him as well as the small "bug" that easily moves around the top of the ball. Its a little heavy if manages to pick it up over himself while he is laying down but once he begins to crawl the heaviness will not be a concern since he will doing more pushing of it and less trying to pick it up above himself. It occupies him even when he is sitting upright.

The VTech Move & Crawl Electronic Activity Ball was purchased for my 6 month old great-grandson for Christmas. He has not received it yet, but I have a strong feeling he will be actively playing with it. Youngsters his age are attracted to bright colors and lights. The fact that it will roll around will encourage him to be active and crawl around. Walmart had the best price, and I was amazed at how quickly I received the product, even though it qualified for free shipping!

I bought this toy for my grandson..it is wonderful!! It keeps his attention by its random rolling around. Just when he is looking for somewhere else to go the ball will start singing and rolling and he is back with it. It is really cute, he loves the spinning lady bug on top.
