Major Dissapointment,
03/04/2010
These things lasted me maybe 2 or 3 months and then died. Tried everything from new batteries to hooking up to new power sources but still nothing. Will not purchase again.

Pretty Good,
08/27/2011
I just bought these a few days ago, and they are worth the money. Pros- Good Sound, Budget Friendly, Well Made, Decent Range Cons- A little white-noise can be detected at times, occasional "pop" sound if there is interference of some sort. They can slide off of your ears if not careful.

Would be perfect if. . .,
03/07/2012
I just returned the SONY headphones I had gotten from Walmart because they inexplicably made loud "pops" when you walked thru a low signal strength area of the house, or sometimes at random even when I was in the same room only 12' from the transmitter. Having heard others say that Sennheiser is the "standard" in wireless headphones, I thought I would try these. I have a noticeable hearing loss above 2000Hz, and use the headphones to listen to my Samsung 46" LED TV without having to turn it up too loud for others in the room.
I am very pleased with these. The frequency range is terrific (20-20KHz), the stereo is perfect, and the reception range is unbelievable. Yesterday I walked down the street at least 250' from the house, and while I encountered a lot of "staticy" places, and would only want to listen to them in one of the clear pockets I found along the way, the headphones never totally lost their connection to the transmitter, and the quality of the sound did not deteriorate.
I notice that other reviewers mentioned constant hissing. Have no idea what's causing that, because there is 0 hissing on mine. Some have complained about the tuning and volume controls being right next to each other so that you might inadvertently turn the wrong one. It takes about 2 minutes to adjust to that fact and learn that the volume control is the top control. IOW, not a problem.
One thing I especially like is the on/off switch, which I use it to turn the phones off during commercials. The SONYs do not have a manual switch for this purpose; they turn on via a strap that turns them on when you put them on your head. The only way to avoid the ads with the SONYs is to (a) take them off or (b) turn the volume down, which means having to readjust the volume when the program returns. Would have been nice if they had a mute button.
There are only two "cons" for these headphones: 1) They are "on-the-ear", not "over-the-ear" headphones, and fall off easily when you bend your head down. 2) Probably to try to compensate for the ease with which they can fall off, they press against the ear harder than I like; after having them on a half hour, they can become uncomfortable. However, I've found that periodically moving them a little relieves the discomfort.
Bottom line: I have yet to find the "perfect" wireless headphones, but these come about as close possible, and at the low price, are a bargain.
Am adding this as a comment, since Walmart doesn't allow you to update a review. I posted the review after having the headphones only 2 days. Since then, I've worn them frequently and for a couple of 1.5-2hr. movies. What I had perceived as high pressure on my ears (headphones kind of "tight") is no longer a problem. It's a matter of getting used to the feel of them. I now find them about as comfortable as over-the-ear types.

Excellent reception I am able to hear the TV without having to raise the volume at a level that blasts the others out of the room. Anyone that has any loss of hearing should invest is this set of headphones. Can be used in any room as they are wireless. Anyone else can adjust the volume of the TV without changing the volume of the person with the headset. In the bedroom one can sleep and the other can enjoy a program.

good sound but,

Easy setup, sounds great, good range--but headphone developed a rattle in one channel about six weeks after purchase. It was not subjected to overly loud use (used exclusively by 60 year old who keeps the volume down).

SEN...SATIONAL,

I've always admired sennheiser's headphones...top shelf! I've had other wireless headphones in the past...RCA . These are great...once you fiddle with the channel selection to find the best one..volume wise..then fine tune! Before I realixzed that there were three channels to choose from (on transmitter unit itself)..I couldn't get enough volume. .and was getting ready to return them...then E U R E K A !!!!The third time ( channel)...was the charm!! Great price too!!! Blows Best Buy away!! Thanks Walmart! Mr. T

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY,
06/10/2008
Tried to make it work. It would not stay powered up long enough to even find the right channel to pair up with the headset. Tried on a different television in a different room (less interference) to initialize and set-up, but still, the base unit kept turning off for no reason. I would not recommend this model to anyone and am returning it as quickly as I can
