A good idea but could be better, 01/20/2010

I first bought these because I was looking liners for my cloth diapers. Not only are these really thin, but they soak through so fast it's ridiculous! If you want quality liners, invest in something thick made of fleece or hemp that will keep the moisture away from your little one's bum and be superabsorbent. I hardly use these now. Would not buy again, but if you are tight on $, they will work.

Great Product, 10/22/2009

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

We purchased these diapers five years ago when my daughter was born. We saved them when she potty trained and are now using them for my son (she is not chunky and potty trained at 2yrs 3mos, so never needed toddler size.) He is 9 months old and only now are we beginning to see some wear and tear and will buy a five pack to replace some. I use a cloth liner with him because they are wearing thin, but I never did with her. I think I've saved a lot not buying reusable diapers and I know I've saved some space in the landfill. We put them in a bucket of vinegar water and dump the whole thing in the washer when it gets full, then dry them on a rack (not the dryer!) and they are spotless.

Kushies All-in-Ones, 09/08/2009
By BeachMom22
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

These are really good all-in-ones for the price. My daughter weighs about 13 lb. and these fit her pretty well, considering she is on the bottom end of the weight range. We mostly use these when we are out and about because they are as easy to use as disposables. I have never had a leak with these diapers! My only complaint is that they seem to be wearing out rather quickly. They are also pretty bulky, but this is to be expected because they fit a wide range of sizes. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Very good product, but a little expensive. Have had no trouble with leaking. Like the fact that it's velcro, just like a regular diaper in every way. Have had no trouble getting stains out, cleans very well. It really is worth the money.

the cloth diapers are great. I tried just using the regular cloth diapers with the prorap cover but you had to assemble them which got tiring. with the kushies it was as close as you can get to a disposable. I also recommended using the flusable liners they make clean up so much easier. They even absorb more then the bumpkins at a fraction the price.

I am a new mom and very new to cloth diaper.I saw these and thought this was a good cloth diaper.Well they are horrible! For one they are huge on my 10lb son, they are extremely bulky and very hot in warm weather. They say they are very absorbent but I beg to differ. As soon as urine hits them they wet from front to back. Also after two washings one is already starting to fray!

seem huge, 07/27/2009
By niconline, FL
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

My baby is not here yet but I wanted to have some diapers in advance. They are very expensive but I figured if they save us some money in the long run and help the environment then its worth it. However, they seem huge. My newborn will definitely not be fitting into these. I will keep the diapers for the future but don't expect to use them right away.

Diapers that help the environment, 07/21/2009
By memurphie77
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I don't consider myself a tree hugger, but my friend and her sister told me about these diapers so I decided to try them and I'm really happy I did. I'm not only saving money but I'm helping the environment too. I've been using these since my son was 3 months old. They are sizes for starting at 10 lbs but I found that they were huge on him, so I waited a few months until they fit better. Anyway...they are fairly easy to use, just need a diaper pail to soak them in and you run thrm thru the laundry in a presoak cycle and a regular cycle every 2-3 days. i really think more people should use these since disposable diapers are so bad for the environment/landfills and these diapers are great for your little one and help to save some money in these economic hard times. Walmart definitely sells them for the best price. Please think long and hard about using this product - it's well worth the up front cost....add them to your registry!

These are large vinyl coated diapers with flannel inside. I live in south central Fl and it gets hot here. This would be ok for up north in the winter but I would never gotten to use them on my son. They are made in Canada so it is probably good to use up there.

Just be Aware, 06/25/2009
By Jacksmom59
Overall Rating: 2 out of 5 2 out of 5

I wanted to use reusable diapers in order to prevent an allergic reaction to the disposables. The problem I have with these particular diapers is that the outer is vinyl. Allergies aside, the whole point of cloth diapers is that the skin can breathe. I suppose that if you're more concerned with leaking onto your nice new fancy baby sheets they might be reasonable. I went with the double-priced-cause-they're-actually-better bum genius. Even so, I'm still saving a ton of money by not using disposables!

love these, 06/24/2009
By an anonymous customer, Canton, OH
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

these are as great as they seemed to be! The only reason I only gave a 4 for features is because the newborn size (4-10#) doesn't work around the umbilical cord for my 2 day old son. Disposables can be folded down, these are too stiff, so I'll have to put them off for about a week until the bit of cord falls off. But tried to make them work all day & the absorbancy is great, liners are incredible, even dad likes them so can't wait to resume use when the belly is healed!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these diapers!!!, 06/19/2009
By clothdiapermalcolm, Chicago, IL
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

This is a great product. We use them combined with another product that we use for night time. These diapers are great. My son is one year old and we have been using them for the past 11 months. They are wonderful. They are absorbent, don't leak and wash really well. The only down side is that they did not fit him until he was about 13 pounds, not 10 pounds...but WHO CARES!!!!! We have already saved so much money on diapers, that it didn't matter! If you are inquestion....please, please buy these diapers. They are perfect and so affordable. The other diapers we use for nighttime (Bum Genius) are great too, but they were unnecessary and WAY more expensive. The kushies reallly do the job. I cannot say enough about how much I love them. If it helps any, I bought 5 used kushies diapers on ebay and have been using them the entire time and they are as good as the new ones!!! The used ones are going on thier second baby and they perform as the new ones!!! I swear, with great diapers such as these out there...if you still use disposables, you are DAFT!!!!!Again...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these diapers! Of course, part of why my hubby and I love them is because of the disposable liners...they make these diapers the best....so use the liners too!!!! This is the easiest, cheapest way to cloth diaper!!!!

Cute but not practical, 05/12/2009
By SandBsGram, Missouri
Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 3 out of 5

I got these for my Daughter-In-Law so she could
experience using "real" diapers...
The idea is "cute" with the velcro closures..and baby
colors and prints for the vinyl outside..but truth is
they are bulky..and I'm afraid HOT..the liner is "flannel"..and the outsided vinyl pants do not come off the product to wash..would of been better if they were 2 seperate pieces and could use regular
diapers..Jury is still out as to how family likes these..
They are not cheap..Reg. diapers and PP would be better I think..
( Hey, I did the pins..and all of my kids lived)

Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I love these diapers. They are so easy to use! Just wash with laundry and add a bit of baking soda or vinegar if you've got especially dirty ones. NEVER USE BLEACH!! Setting them in the sun for a while should lighten or remove any discoloration from a stain.
These are no harder than disposables to use. Instead of taking out the dirty diaper pail with the trash, you run a load of laundry. See, cloth diapers can be simple and easy!
My daughter is a heavy wetter at night and I've never had a leak with these diapers.

By SEEMommy, Estes Park, CO
Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

I have never used cloth diapers of any kind before and was concerned about what kind of messes I'd have to clean up. However, there was no problems. I put my baby in them and she slept, ate, and played for about 4 hours with the diaper on and there were no leaks, and she didn't complaing one bit. She's 4 months old, just barely 10lbs, and they fit her great! I had to make them a bit tighter but despite that things went well. I've only used them one time but as long as you follow the instructions for care and use they are great! I only got five and would reccomend a second pack, just so they last longer between washings.

Being a first time mother I decided to try cloth diapers to save some money. I have been using the normal flat fold cloth diapers (these are kind of a pain), then found Kushies on line and decided to try them. So far I love them, I have even purchased the disposable liners which work really well. My 3 month son is usaully on a every other day BM schedual so I put in a liner in and lift out the mess in one simple step without hardly any trouble! The diapers take some time to dry but are totally worth it! I'm even getting ready to purchase another 5 to stock up my supply.
