Tough Ride

I bought this bike last year for my 5 year old son. After getting it home, we realized its VERY difficult to pedal. The braking and gearing system is not smooth often frustrating my child. As he's grown up, there is little vertical adjustments to accommodate his growth. Additionally, he tipped it over and broke the hand brake plastic housing making that brake useless. I would seriously look around at other bikes before purchasing this one.
We bought this bike for our son's 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it. The training wheels come off easily and the seat DOES adjust.
the only thing i don't like about the bike are the stickers. My boys are pretty tough on bikes so it wasn't long before they started peeling, but that is to be expected.
Even my 7 year old son prefers this bike to his own. We have had this bike for about 9 months now and it still rides great. Overall, It's a great, sturdy bike at a nice price.

When I assembled the bike I found the front tire not to hold air, so placed it in the sink and found the innertube had a hole in it. Also during assembly I noticed the bearings on the main sprocket were catching as bike was pedaled. I would not reccommend anyone to purchase this bike. Took the bike back to wal-mart and exchanged it for a different type, which I totally checked it out before leaving the store

When i was about to buy this bike i got mixed reports from customers and customer service about this bike. so here it is: the bike is awesome, the seat does adjust, but only about 4-5 inches in hight. my son is 5 years old and has average to short legs, i have it on the lowest setting. right now that's the biggest he is able to ride, so he has at least 2 years before he outgrowes it. the bike as a brake on the back, when you pedal backwards. and a hand brake in the front. it was easy to put together, for anybody who has commen sence. my son loves it. the only thing that is a little cheap on it is the front fender. the first real crash and it will be broken off, but you can unsrew it from the frame. all and all i'm very happy i got him this bike.

My husband and I just bought this bike for our 4 year old son for his birthday. He is always talking about how he wants a motorcycle like his Papa so this was the best choice. When we brought it out for him to see his mouth dropped open and said wow. He took it outside it was very easy for him to ride even though hes a little short for it. The seat is adjustable but not by much we have no complaints and he is happy.

We bought this bike for my son's third birthday last summer. It was a little bit big for him last year but he has grown into it nicely. Our thinking was that the smaller bikes are outgrown so quickly, we wanted to get the most use out of the bike we would purchase. He absolutely LOVES his bike. Now he is asking to have the training wheels removed, but becasue of the seat he can't reach the ground so we can't do that yet. We are hoping for next spring or summer (when he'll be 5). Overall though, it is a great bike. Still looks brand new and he still gets tons of compliments when he rides it about what an awesome bike he has!

We purchased this bike a couple of days ago for our son and he loves it. The free assembly was a nice touch. The first thing that I noticed and didn't care for were the pedals. They were very stiff and my son had trouble pedaling the bike. I spent six bucks for different pedals and they have made all the difference in the world as my son refused to exchange the bike for a different one. My sons friends all think the bike is very cool looking also. I've read several posts mentioning that the seat is not adjustable. I was able to lower the seat a little over an inch by tightening the shock below the seat and this was enough to allow him to get on and off easier. I think this bike is made for a child with a longer torso a shorter legs due the seat and handlebar position. My son is 44" tall and has very long legs and he must lean forward quite a bit to reach the handlebars and since he has long legs his knees come fairly close to the handle bars as he is pedaling. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase but with the seat position only being adjustable by an inch as opposed to other bikes that usually have 5 or 6 inches of adjustment I'm not sure how long he will be able to ride it comfortably and safely.

Product was great, just had one mechanical error. The pedals of the bike keep coming off. Will have to take to bike shop to repair. Really shouldn't have to do with a brand new toy. But other than that, the sale went fine... Thanks DJ

Bad to the bone...

My son got this bike from the Easter Bunny - he had previously seen it in the store and picked it out himself. He says, "it is bad to the bone". He is almost 5 and just LOVES it. It went together very easy. The bike is just a little big for him but he can ride it because of the training wheels. He will be able to use it for a couple of years - hopefully. The only concern I have is that the seat and the handlebars do not adjust in height. Not a problem for us though. It is really a sharp looking bike!

This bike was such a dellight. It's very sharp looking and a great ride. Just wish the fenders and other decor were a little more sturdy but it's still a great deal. The "site to store" way to shop has been a blessing to our family. It came in on time for the birthday party and was even assembled for us at no extra charge---can't beat that. THANK YOU WALMART!!!

I bought this for my son's 6th birthday. He wanted a real dirt bike but I didn't think we were ready for that just yet! This won him over big! He loves it and all his friends wanted one just like it! It took a few adjustments for the handle bars to be just right and I wish the seat was adjustable but overall it's perfect.

We bought this bike after the oldest outgrew the 12" and he loves it. I love that its a dirt bike and 'cool' and not something he will outgrow in a few months time (like a character bike because there is always a new character every few months).
The only problem we have had is that the plastic training wheel broke. We are going to be removing the training wheels anyways. I could not contact the company for replacement either.

A Fantastik Bicycle!

Daddy wishes he had a bicycle this cool when he was a kid. My son loves this bike and it is very easy to ride. I'm looking forward to someday taking the training wheels off. My congrats to Walmart for not charging for assembly (most of the other stores charge at least $10). My only dislikes about the bike is that you can't adjust the seat, and no rear reflector. My son is 4 and he will grow into this bike for many years, so the problem of the seat not adjusting is minor. I easily see many years of use. I told the Wal-mart associate about it not having a rear reflector and he gave me one (very kind of him). Great price and he loves it!
