The Doodle pro is a definite improvement over the old Etch-a sketch. Pictures or drawings can be quickly drawn and erased.
Bought this for grandson who just turned three. He already had a small Doodle Pro where he liked me to draw cars crashing into each other. Since he is a fanatic Pixar Cars fan, this model was a must for him. It took an hour for him to get the hang of the templates. Now he spends more time using templates than free-style drawing. For a kid this age, it works best for an adult to interact and do some of the drawing for the kid to identify or copy. The item seems pretty rugged and I think it will last a while. What I like most is the opportunity for open-ended creativity.

A great doodle. Very clean and clear writing or drawing. The extras that comes with it, is great to very easy to use. One of the best doodles you can buy! My son loves it.
