I love the mattress pad it makes sleeping a lot nicer especially since I'm currently deployed in Iraq. The mattresses are the best, so it helps for comfort.

A Couple of years ago we bought a pillow top bed from a local mattess dealer. After a year it felt like we were sleeping in ditches with a hump as we called it between me and my husband. So we cut off the top of the 4" pillow top from the bed. we replaced it with this mattress pad. It was to hard so we add so of the padding from my orginal pillow top to this new pad. Husband like's it but i would like to be a little bit more billowly. I may return it if i can find something in a cal-king. But it is hard to find what I want in my beds size. I found one for my full size that is awsome with a pillow top mattress pad. The gist of the story is if you want a hard or firm bed it is great and if you don't keep looking or be creative and buy more pieces that make it work.

Great mattress pad, can even be used (by itself, on the floor) as a mattress for guests. I think the extra inch (4" vs. 3") makes a lot of difference! Plus it has great support, just the right amount of softness/firmness, sleep great on it!

Put this on top of a queen size Walmart air mattress for another $100.00 and this is a very inexpensive and very comptfortable large bed. Cheap Comfort. Beds cost so much these days. I think this helps me sleep even better.

Two herniated disk and spinal fusion,

My husband had two spinal fusion surgeries and I have two herniated disk. We considered spending thousands for a king size memory foam mattress. When I got online I checked Wal-Mart because it is my FAVORITE place to shop. Well I had no clue that they had such amazing items for sale online only. When the foam pad arrived it was heavy and it was difficult to maneuver by my self, my husband did need to help me. Luckily we have deep pocket sheets because with our pillow top mattress and then the memory foam pad my mattress is really thick. Our first night on this mattress was okay and I believe it is because we were use to the old way the pillow top caved in. Well the second night I made sure to put on my favorite sheets and I had the bed all tucked in and comfy. I slept all night long and did not wake up with any pain. I LOVE this memory foam topper. It is not solid memory foam, it is about 2 and a half inches memory foam on top and one and a half regular foam below. The cover will be a bit difficult to remove for washing if necessary. I put a mattress protector cover on top the foam pad to avoid needing to remove the cover very often. I completely suggest this item 100%!!!! I have not needed an epidural for a year. My husband is a totally different story and he has other issues.
