Ever since my son learned to walk he doesnt want held, he hates riding in strollers and shopping carts, so we were always chasing him all over the place when we'd go out. Until we found this, at first I was iffy about him liking it, because he hates to even wear jackets, so i wasnt for sure he'd like it. But after a couple times wearing it, he forgot it was even on him. It keeps him at a reasonable disance, and it has a little pocket in the back to store small things like binkys. The only problem I have with it is I think the leash part is hard to buckle and unbuckle. My son is 1 1/2. But I would recommend this product to anyone with energetic kids. It really does help!

I got this for my 15 month old granddaughter for when we go shopping, and she knows that when I put it on her she can walk and she loves it. I like the fact that she can walk and not have to hold my hand.

I bought this for my 18 month old, very indepedent, granddaughter who finds it easier to walk NOT holding your hand. When this arrived in the mail, she hugged it and wanted it on her back immediately. My daughter was thrilled.

It is a very cute and very useful product.
My baby is only 17 months, he loves it and has it on his back whenever he walks outside. I can easily hold the monkey's tail and walk with him...my back got released from it.
Thanks little money.

Bought this product to use for a vacation in very crowded places with my 1 1/2 year old - perfect for the job. The monkey is cute (although the face is brown and not white) and the adjustable straps make a fit perfect in any clothes or jacket. The pocket could be bigger to actually fit something inside - but that's not the point of the product. Overall - the price is great and the product meets all expectations.

I bought this so my 15 month old son can't walk off when he doesn't want to hold hands (try as we might, he has found that he enjoys his new independence and hand holding has become difficult). We have used this at the zoo recently and we had a lot of nice compliments about the system. I can't say I have any complaints as the product does what I need it to do -- keep my kiddo close and safe!

I love this product. I only wish I had recieved a Monkey that looked like the one in the picture (with a white face). The one I recieved had a brown face. I was never asked or notified about the difference. If the one with the white face is no longer available, the photo should be updated.
I do however love the function of this product. My son is 2.5 years old and we have used it at our local fair. He says "I big boy, I walk myself". So this gave him the independance he wanted and me the security I was looking for. Plus it is cute. There isn't much room in the backpack for anything bigger than a pacifier, maybe a small snack, but not a cup or water bottle. Don't count on this for storage, just holding onto your munchkin!

I bought 3 of these for my kids aged, 3, 5 & 7. I know 7 is too old to be using this product BUT we're travelling to Asia soon and it'll be just me & my 3 kids, so better be safe than sorry.
We've been using the harnesses for test runs and they work great esp. during a trip to the Ohio State Fair. The monkey's tail is the leash and is just the right length, cos you really don't want the kids to get too far. They did get tangled up together or around themselves but they have learned by themselves how to get out of that.
At first the kids hated the harnesses but now they'd take them out and even put these on themselves, whenever we go out to the store. It's really cute, like a little monkey hanging on their backs, there isn't much room in the pocket but a Didj system and even a Leapster can actually go in there.

I bought this item, because my 2 year old never stops moving. I was afraid to have him out of his stroller because he just takes off with no fear, OF COURSE HE's 2! Anyway, the day we got it in the mail, he was very interested, because he LOVES monkeys. I put it on him right away and we made a game out of him walking "Too far from mommy" and then coming back for a hug! So far he wears it a lot in the house without the "TAIL" teather. Then he will ask to play the "too far from mommy game". We have only used it once while we were out of the house, but it worked wonderfully, because he didn't realize we weren't "playing the game". We are visiting a MAJOR theme park in October which was the primary reason for this purchase, and I am confident that he will continue to love wearing it.
