This mattress will fit anywhere!,

This is the first "real"mattress we found that would fit up our very narrow stairway with a right-angle turn in a very old house. It arrives compressed in a plastic bag. Once opened, it "inflates" over several hours. We slept on it after about 4 hours - and had the best night's sleep in ages. As others mentioned, at first the bottom layer of high density foam seems surprisingly firm - but the upper layer of soft memory foam conforms well to shoulders and hips. The result is firm back support combined with soft comfort. Great mattress for the money and for anyone needing a mattress that will squeeze through a difficult hallway or stairwell.

Love this Mattress. I did the site to store pickup and I was surprised in the box it came in. The mattress was rolled up in a box about half the size I was expecting but when opened it expanded to full size. The mattress did have a slight odor when opened but it went away fairly quickly. I have enjoyed this mattress and would strongly recommend it.

This mattress is too hard. Many reviews state this and I thought they just hadn't done their memory foam research, but in truth it is much harder than most memory foam mattresses. It could be that I don't weigh enough for the mattress to give, but I don't think this should matter. It also never fully recovered to it's full shape out of the box. The corners are still slightly bent in. Great price, but you get what you pay for.

I read many reviews before deciding to purchase this mattress and have owned it for about a month.
Below are my comments: - the smell goes away about after approx 10 days - it takes approx 3 days for the bed to expand to it's full shape - for those who said the bed is too firm, I do not want to insult their intelligence, but the mattress may be upside down. If you follow the instructions verbatim, the mattress will be upside down and you MUST flip it to get the "foam" on top - I was able to open the mattress from the packing box by myself and flip it, but it was difficult, I would recommend two people for this job - the king size bed was a perfect fit for my bedroom set - my parents used my bed (while I was away on a trip) and my Mom said she loved it because it was firm and my Dad thought it was okay, but he prefers softer mattresses
Hope this helps. Good luck.

This mattress never seemed to want to expand on the corners and at the ends. It expanded to 9" in the center and 7.5" on the sides and ends and this mattress was to be 12". No way is this mattress what was advertised.

This product is amazingly priced, considering comparable products in the market sell for +$1,000. However, the quality of the product is average, and in general, I believe it to be lower quality than the other available memory foam products.
The mattress is firm by standards for memory foam. I think the foam responds better if more weight is applied to the mattress (I weigh 170lbs). If you are +200lbs, I think this would be the perfect mattress because the memory foam would react as it should.
I am not dissatisfied with the product, but it is not the greatest purchase I have made either.

Slept on this bed for almost a week to see if we were going to like it before posting. I have to tell you "it's the best night’s sleep I've gotten in years!” Love it!

I read the reviews so I knew what to expect. It's a tad bigger than my queen box, ok. The smell disappeared. I let it air up 2 days, it rose to 10 inches. Heard from someone to walk on it to help decompress it, after a month it's up to 11 inches, no biggy. It gets really warm sleeping under winter weight comforter, may have to switch to lighter or as another reviewer suggests getting a pad to lay under sheet, it'll be nice come freezing temps. Movement doesn't radiate or disturb sleep, however there isn't support when desired. I've had back surgeries, ongoing, so far I have had both good and bad nights sleep but the pressure areas donot hurt as much as my former 14" expensive ortho mattress. 1 month today.

The king comes in a box 42.52" x 22.99" x 22.01" and official weight is 128 lbs and I don't think the weight was exagerated! I was pleasantly surprized that it would easily fit in my 2006 Prius hatchback. I thought I would be able to handle it while in the box better than I could by myself. It definitely a 2 adult job to handle. The box says team lift so Walmart does its job warning you! Inside the box the mattress is compressed, folded and rolled into and about the size/shape of a standard round trashcan. There is a tarp type bag with a drawstring that you need to cut away which is a shame, the bag is nice enough it could be useful for lots of other things, but not cutting it would be just to awkward to be worth it. It was double boxed for shipping but I saw no markings on which end to open so of course I opened the wrong one! There was a cut in the outer box near one of the corners. Don't know if it happened in shipping or warehouse but the second box was there and near a corner of a box with rolled/round cargo it would have had to be a VERY deep cut to damage the mattress, fortunately on ours didn't even make it to inner box. Once the plastic bag was cut, it immediately started to fill with air. Be warned it gets to be even harder to move once it goes from about 3.5 inches thick to 12" but once fully decompressed does offer some rigidity for moving. Within an hour it was approx. 12" all the way around though the box had a warning may need 48 hours to fully "fill". It is definitely a firm feel. The foam does give some, not as much as I had hoped for which is why it only got 4 stars on meets expectation. My wife and I do find it comfortable enough as is. Those who find it too firm would be better advised to add a Spa Sensations 1.5" Memory Foam Mattress-Topper which I'm sure is lighter foam and will give more. We have a similar topper for our old mattress and if we find this too firm will add it. That will be much easier than trying to return this thing! Even adding the topper it's still a great deal. My one complaint is the same as an earlier post, it would be nice to have some kind of notice to warrantee. Foam life expectancy varies based on quality and I'm hoping to be happy with this for more than 10years but at this price I can replace it every 5 if needed and still beat the name brand price.

I bought this mattress about 2 months ago after shopping around for about a month. We ultimately went with this mattress mainly because of the value and the positive reviews on this site. I'd like to offer my experience on several of the issues that have been mentioned in other reviews.
1) Shipping - The mattress arrived in about a week and a half. I used the new "Site to store" service that Walmart offers and saved $80 on the shipping. Excellent.
2) Smell- others have commented on the odor of the mattress when it arrived... I found it to be neither strong nor offensive. I didn't bother to air it out and it was fine.
3) Heat build-up - Some reviewers have commented that the mattress stores heat more than a normal mattress. We have not experienced this; it seems the same as a normal mattress... no more, no less.
4) Firmness - many people have commented on the firmness of this mattress. I'll have to say, this is a firm mattress. My wife and I both have back problems, and we have always slept on a firm mattress. This mattress is firm even by our standards. We both get an excellent night's sleep however. Our previous mattress was a Sealy Posturpedic firm mattress. I used to wake up each morning feeling like I'd been run-over by a Mack truck. No more.
Overall, we are very pleased with this mattress. Very good value. If I were to change anything about it, it would be to make it a little less firm.

We just bought new mattresses a few years ago and were still having back and sleep issues. We recently looked at the memory foam mattresses at the furniture stores and decided they were WAY out of our price range. We found the memory foam mattress on Walmart.com and ordered it to try it out. We were VERY surprised!!! My husband said it was the best night of sleep he ever had after that first night. Took me a few nights to get used to, but now I am extremely happy with it. We bought mattresses for all of our sons and they are just as happy. Best investment we have made in a long time. There is a chemical smell for a few days and you may have to sleep on it a couple of days to get used to it, but once you are used to it you will never want to sleep on anything else.

I have a Select Comfort Bed ($5000), and wake up hurting every morning. My wife loves it, but I still have the same problems with it as I do a regular mattress and boxsprings. SO, I looked around , and not wanting to spend another small fortune on something that may not help, I bought this mattress. Now I wake up not hurting, and it wasnt a big pain for my wallet either. The memory foam disperses your weight out, so you're not putting so much pressure on specific parts of your body causing them pain. And since the memory foam regains its shape, its like sleeping on a new mattress every night. Its a great mattress for a great price.

Me and my husband used to wake up with aching back. We changed our mattress twice already but our backaches persist. Then for the third time of shopping around for a mattress, I stumble around this mattress offered in Walmart. read all the reviews and after thinking for days about it, I finally ordered one from Walmart.
We loved this mattress! The backaches our gone. Although there was this "chemical smell" during the first week, it eventually dissapeared. We always wake up refresh and feel rested. I will definitely reccomend this.

This product is comparitively a good value. We purchased a King. The slip cover was put on improperly - the pad was put on the hard side of the bed (not the soft 3" layer). It would have been like wrestling an anaconda to switch it so we put our old mattress cover on the correct side. Down side - the mattress worked great for my wife but didn't provide me with enough support. Now that it's full sized (not vacuumed bagged), I have to figure out how to wrap it (none of the original wrapping could fit now) and get it back to the store for a refund.
